Thin Crust spicy tomato sauce pizza with pepperoni instead of sausage - this wasu favorite! 10/10 It was hard to stop eating! Gorgonzola & Pear Pizza (with pepperoni added on) - what a lovely combo! I wasn't a fan of the pear itself but everything else went so beautifully well together. The pepperoni recipe was a great add on! Roasted Garlic with Goat Cheese appetizer - husband really liked this! Goat cheese was creamy and the combo was nice. My favorite part of these was the caramelized onions. Lovely! Fresh Soft garlic rolls were lovely! Warm and fluffy. Friends got the vegetable pizza and it was loaded with veggies! They said it was really good. They also liked the Broccoli with Penne Pasta and seemed to enjoy it. Good amount of broccoli in there which was nice. Tiramisu - husband loved this! It was just what he wanted to end his meal. I'm usually a fan of the creams so this one had too much of the sponge ladyfingers for me. But overall the flavor was quite nice. I stopped by Pizza Nova in San Marcos for lunch on a Wednesday and had a really nice first experience. There was plenty of parking, and the restaurant is spacious with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. We were seated right away, and the service was friendly throughout our visit. They brought out complimentary garlic knots served hot, and they were so good we even asked for seconds. I also thought the lunch special was a great value for under $17. You can choose a salad and pasta or a salad and a 6 inch personal pizza. I ordered the Best Salad, which was delicious, and paired it with the goat cheese pizza. The toppings were good, but there wasn't any sauce on the pizza, so it ended up being a little dry for my taste. I'd probably try a different pizza next time. They also had a great playlist playing, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a really nice lunch spot, and I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu. read more

I visited this restaurant last week and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with the hostess Jovana .We were on the waiting list for approximately 35 minutes. While monitoring the list on my phone, I noticed that other guests were added above our name .When I asked about our table, the hostess said she did not see us waiting, even though we were just outside. She simply pointed toward a table and said, "You can sit at that table." She did not escort us to the table or provide menus. I also noticed that other guests were personally seated and assisted by the hostess, which made the difference in treatment especially noticeable. Overall, I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable. I understand that restaurants can become busy, but I expected the same level of courtesy and service provided to other guests. The experience left me feeling that we were treated differently and, unfortunately, made me feel discriminated against. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and provides additional training to ensure that all guests are treated consistently and respectfully. read more

The pizza was nothing special and had way too much garlic, which is unexpected in a sausage and mushroom pizza. My wife enjoyed the beet salad and said the chicken had no flavor. When we first walked in I was getting disappointed. The hostess up front was on the phone so I don't need her to drop everything, but she didn't even acknowledge us walking in. A nod or wave would've been the minimum I expect. Nobody was at the bar so I found a menu on my own and started looking at what we wanted. Our server was actually very friendly and attentive. My mom has always come to this restaurant and brought me back food and I've always enjoyed the food. I came with a group of my coworkers for a holiday party and the food again was great. I ordered the lunch special. I'm not big on Margherita pizza as it's been a hot or miss elsewhere but this was a hit. The salad could've use more dressing, I couldn't see or taste much of it. The little garlic breads they offer while waiting for your food was good too however we got a couple hard pieces. Your new North County Sunday-Monday plan! All night happy hour. Not the best happy hour for beer drinkers, but lots of good food and pizza choices with $5 wells and $5 house wines ($5 off $10). Daughter loved her Salmon Crostini. Lobster Bisque was $12.50 and not on happy hour, but had nice lobster chunks and great flavor, not gratuitously heavy. I'm picky about wings, and these are good...they ran out at 6:15! I'm even more picky about pizza, but my BBQ Chicken Pizza was really good! The Rudest manager I have ever met! First off, I would like to say that this place is not cheap. $60 for two pizzas and sodas is a bit of a splurge. Having some food allergies, I slowly and precisely stated the only ingredients I wanted on my pizza to the server. She repeated everything back to me, and headed towards the kitchen. When my pizza arrived, it was incorrect. The server agreed that there were some ingredients that I had not requested and she took the pizza back to remake it. After having consumed the new pizza, the manager marched out to our table with the incorrect pizza and informed me that the restaurant can't afford to pay for my mistake.. She left the boxed pizza on the table and proceeded to charge me for two pizzas. She left our table with a look of victory in her eyes. She might have won " that battle, " but lost a regular customer. If I were the owner of that restaurant, I would wonder how many other regular customers she lost who are not taking the time to write a review. With all of the tons of pizza, restaurants in north county, San Diego, do yourself a favor and avoid this one!! No customer deserves to be treated that way!! read more

The sticky lukewarm warm glob that eventually made its way to my table was bland, tasted watery, was mushy and lacking in any appreciable amount of any sauce. I pointed this out to "Naomi", my server. She brought out some extra sauce eventually. It wasn't until the check arrived that so noticed this flavor lacking sauce raised the bill an extra $2. Naomi disappeared for long stretches. I had to ask her for the bread that should accompany the meal. She left my table cluttered with garbage and debris. Sunday night dinner with husband and daughter. We chose to sit in a booth at the bar bc playoff basketball was on. The booth behind us was full of young adults, whom we can assume work for the location we were dining at. The manager and bar tender continued to stop at their table and chit chat with the crew. They were definitely hammered and at one point two of the girls left the table to puke. They continued to be served, also while throwing our F bomb after F bomb. Manager even talked about how he's leaving for a closer job. Needs the money. While my kid has heard it all, it was still not enjoyable to hear how hammered they were and continue to witness the restaurant play to their needs. We payed and left but as we walked by, outside, one of the girls at the booth lifted her arms in confrontation towards us and flipped us off.
