The practitioner feels your pulse and checks your tongue before administering needles. He also wipes all areas with alcohol before needles are placed. I really appreciated this extra concern for hygienics. It is a small studio with only 6 chairs. At age 54, after years of intermittent problems and alternative treatments, I feel that I finally understand what I need to do to take care of myself. When I first turned to Dr. Eisenheim, my primary complaint was that I'd been experiencing morning exhaustion for a long time. It was difficult to start the day, day after day, with no desire whatsoever to get out of bed. Was I depressed? Was I just getting old? Was this what it was going to be like from now on?
