This has to be the worst, most unprofessional dental practice that has ever existed. They couldn't care less about a patients situation. I had an abscess where my tooth split in two and I was in a lot of pain. They kept putting off my appointment to extract the tooth, last time over bad weather that had already passed. The Doctor never offered any pain relief or antibiotic prescriptions to treat the infection I had. Malpractice in most professional opinions. read more

Well for starters I came in without insurance so I purchased the in house program then they took pics of my teeth told me what all needed to be done and how much it was gonna cost I asked them to do it st three office and they said theu didn't want too I guess cause if the meds I'm on buy I need my teeth done I ha e insurance bow and need my dentures but they won't do them they wanna reference me out just help me get ny stuff done read more

I had the choice to do root canals or pull my teeth, so I pulled my teeth and I could go back and get a partial and when I went back to ask about a partial, he told me I couldn't because I have no jaw teeth and you would think all the x-rays that they did he should have seen that and told that now they're trying to charge me 1000 something dollars because they company wrong and they won't redo the paperwork read more

I have never been to a dentist where a cleaning was not part of the 6 month check up. Their hygienist, I now learn, only works one day per month????. I arrived, processed new patient papers, they took a full set of X-rays ( filed on my insurance), doctor spent 2 minutes tops looking at X-rays and looking at my gums, and I was done. How do I now go to a real dentist practice and explain as a new patient that they can't do X-rays or the dentist check but I just want a cleaning ( unless I want to pay for it). They lie, overcharge and take forever to do a crown. I had a tooth killing me. I called their office sobbing, they said theyd see me. I went to their office still sobbing they looked at my tooth then tried to make me come back for the root canal. I said i was going to kill myself if they sent me home in that much pain. They decided to do the root canal. They gave me prices for a root canal and crown vs pulling the tooth. I was hesitant to spend hundreds of dollars in addition to my insurance payment it was like 1100 or 1200 dollars. They promised thats all id pay. I said ok. They did the root canal. They did a temporary crown twice and then after 3 weeks gave me my permanent crown, it missed my vacation on a cruise and i was afraid to eat most crunchy things and damaging my temporary crown. Then a month or two later i ge5 another bill for 300 dollars. I was pissed I looked online and that was their typical skeem so i proceeded to alert the better business burrow and anyone else who would listen read more

I called on Thursday for an appt, tooth cracked and filling fell out. Very painful, was informed could not be seen until 12:30 on Monday. recd a call at 11:30 am, one hour before appt., to cancel appt as an emergency came up for dentist, she wanted to reschedule. I informed her that I had an emergency also, my tooth cracked. She said I would have to reschedule. I told her to cancel my appt I will find another dentist and let everyone know how I was treated in an emergency situation. After posting complaint with corporate office, was contacted by local dentist office and called in pain medicine and antibiotic and given appt for 7:30 am next morning. I am across the country and trusted that my son would be well taken care of at Monarch Dental. The management of the office was a super disappointment. Make sure you add bad attitude and the inability to articulate the rationale of the policy she states the company has. My son needed some dental work but did not have dental insurance. We were informed about Care Credit which worked out and of course I sent money in addition. We first had to pay for everything prior to the procedure being done. hmmm. The doctor decided to refer him to a surgeon and did not do all the work we were charged for. We were told we would receive a refund in a couple of days. First we were told since all the money had been charged to care credit as well as my credit card, that they would just send me a refund of all the money less the charges for what work was actually done. Then a few days later I was told that they would reverse the charges on my credit card. Without my permission, they decided to pay care credit off with my credit card instead of refunded my money and allowing me to pay care credit based on the terms I've already established. How legal is for a company to take money you paid for one thing and apply it something else. I asked for it in writing, they said it's there business policy but they don't have it in writing. hmmm. I will give the States Attorney and the Better Business Bureau a call and check on that. It's a shame that some people are treated a certain way.
