I'm currently here being treated. This medical center has saved my life and I'm very grateful. They have wonderful doctors, nurses and staff. They have treated me with kindness and they listen. They are well trained in their fields. I came here two days ago and started in the ICU. Now on the third day and currently off ICU and may go home tomorrow. I highly recommend this place. The food isn't too bad, they can improve breakfast though but it's not a big thing. The fact they save me from dying was. Thank you Jefferson Regional for your services and the wonderful trained staff. To all the doctors and nurses thank you for I am very grateful in all you had provided for me! Amy outpatient recovery nurse is the rudest nurse I ever met in my long history of medical needs. She was so rude I refused to let her touch me and requested another nurse. Here I am hearing all these nice nurses sweet talk their patients all around me and they gave me nurse ratchet! This nurse should absolutely not be working with the public. Hell I wouldn't even let her be a vet tech to my dogs with her nasty attitude. Why the hospital would give her 2 shadows to follow her is beyond me. I looked at the one young female shadow and told her to absolutely not be like that nurse she is shadowing. I refused any further treatment even pain meds. I just wanted away from that nurse and out of that hospital. I refuse to pay any bill that lead to me to be treated like I was less than a living creature. If I wanted that I would have went to a dominatrix. That nurse was so bad she turned me from a please and thank you person to a pissed off foul mouth sailor. I have never behaved like that in public. I guess she thought I would be a person that's not lucid after anesthesia. Well she thought wrong. After this experience I think I will continue to drive to hot springs for my medical needs. Heck JRMC outpatient surgery couldn't even bother to call me to give me the time to be there, where to go, or what meds I could take before my surgery. My husband called around 2pm the day Before and they said they didn't have the schedule set yet and would call back a little later with the info. Yep they never called. If you enjoy waking up from surgery and being in severe pain, talked to like you are not worth their time, enjoy being deprived water when your throat is killing you and the water is only 3 ft away, and enjoy straight pain being pushed quickly through your iv claiming it's pain meds followed by another rush of something painful saying they are flushing your iv then this is the place for you. But I hope it's not the place for you. Every person matters and should be treated like you matter and that your pain concerns are valid. read more

Jefferson Regional Medical Center - Dressing, green beans and burger. - Medical Centers Near Me - Pine Bluff, Arkansas

On 4/8 my employee passed out in Pine Bluff. We called 911 got an ambulance to him and they took him to this hospital. When he came to, they were removing his IV and telling him he had to go. He told them it would take 2 hours for someone to get him as we are in El Dorado. He had limited mobility. They put him in a wheelchair and left him in the waiting room. They locked the wheelchair and he didn't have the strength to unlock it. So, he sat in the waiting room for about 2.5 hours with no food, no water, and no way to get to the bathroom. They didn't even give him discharge papers. I am so upset. He's a good person and wonderful employee and he absolutely did not deserve this treatment. read more

Wow! I can't believe I am the first person to Yelp this place. Let me tell you, Jrmc was my first home 29 years ago from today, considering today is my birthday (Happy Birthday to me). As far as I could remember JRMC only had two entrance years ago but now since the establishment added the new entrance and parking ramp available for visitors. There is so much good from this place. I have seen some of the most precious births, life miracles, and final good bye. Despite the bad things people say, I could never agree with such. The staff members are great from the doctors, nurses, admission, to the cafeteria workers are all great. In 2010 I had one of the best opportunity to work as a clinical surgical tech student in the operating room. Best experience ever. Jrmc came a long way and continues to grow with outstanding results. I recently had surgery at Jefferson Regional Medical Center (JRMC) in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and I wanted to say that from "door to door" I received exceptional care at JRMC! The surgical team treated me with the utmost respect and compassion, and I felt listened to throughout. The JRMC surgical team (in Same Day Surgical - Sylvie, Tori and Alexis) and ( the o.r. team - Dr. Michelle Eckert, Angie, Ashley, Nick and Nel ) put my well-being first, from concern about my comfort level to caring about my privacy before, during and after surgery. The treatment I received throughout my procedure was professional, courteous, respectful and pleasant. After the surgery, again checking my comfort level, they discussed care with me as well as leaving me with detailed after-care instructions. I couldn't have asked for a better experience if you had to have surgery! I could have chosen to go somewhere else for this surgery, but I'm so glad I chose Dr. Eckert and JRMC to help me. read more
