Where to begin when we first hired Andrew he was very attentive and we just discussed a tentative Wedding Date with him he went out of his way to meet up with us when my husband and I were visiting Solvang he met up with us while we were out there for a photoshoot and he was absolutely amazing. He picked this amazing Park that had awesome views and even a waterfall. Since covid happen we had to reschedule not once but twice and through it all andrew was still there to be a part of our wedding day. At one point I think he was more exciting for our wedding than we were lol. That day finally came August 8th 2021 and he was on it. All of our guests felt like he was very funny and they even couldn't believe that he was a photographer because he was acting like he was one of the guests- very funny and knows how to get people's attention to get a photo without making someone feel uncomfortable. He is amazing!! We would definitely hire him again for maybe Anniversary photo shoots, who knows whatever happens in the future! I am a bit late in posting my review as I usually leave that up to my husband. My husband and Andrew were co-workers for some years. When my husband proposed, he gave me 8 months to plan our wedding... Trying to stay under 5k (I'm pretty frugal, and very picky), searching for a photographer was painstakingly impossible with such little time. I remembered Andrew was a freelance photographer from our meeting at one of their work functions. I asked my husband to see if Andrew would be interested in not only being at our wedding, but catching all our special moments on film. Andrew was gracious enough to accept! I was so thrilled with the pictures he took, especially since I did not want to "normal" type of pictures, because we didn't have a "typical" wedding planned. We appreciate Andrew and love his work! I could not be happier with Andrew's work. He listened to what I saw as my vision and interpreted it exactly. We had a delay in our ceremony and he stayed to be sure he took all the photos we wanted, including some amazing sunset shots, and more. We hired Andy to take my son's Senior pictures and at the last minute threw in a family photo session at the same time. Andy took it all in stride and arranged a time for all of us to meet him at a local park. We walked around the lake, snapping pictures here and there along the way. What seemed to be a relaxing time with family turned into amazing photos in the blink of an eye! We have never had such awesome family pictures, and we've worked with many different photographers in other states before. I am so thankful to have found Andy and that he was able to capture a fleeting time in our lives when our children are still at home, grandma was in to visit, and my husband was home from his many travels. I had so much anxiety about my twin daughters senior pictures. As soon as I met Andy I felt relaxed and confident that we were going to have fun taking pictures. He is very down to earth and just easy to talk to. My girls seriously were laughing and smiling genuinely throughout the whole photo shoot and the end result in the pictures showed that. Andy took the time to accommodate me for my Impromptu Bridal Shower. He was very easy to work with-professional, fun, creative. Unless he was having us pose for certain photos, he kept a low profile which was perfect for obtaining lots of candid shots which I love. We would have hired him for our wedding photos had we not "run away" to Vegas..... after the event, I discovered he will travel for photo shoots (wish I would have thought to ask....duh). Andy was amazing! My husband hired him for me as a surprise Mother's Day gift. We met at Dana Point in the morning and he took family photos of us. We have 5 kids, ranging from 3 - 13 so the kids could get a little squirmy at times. Andy was patient, fun and very creative with poses. Andy was my wedding photographer. However, that day he was part of our family. We didn't have a ton of money but the beautiful pictures that he captured made it look like a royal event. At the last minute while I was on vacation in the OC area, I thought about getting some professional sunset photos taken on the beach. I found Andy's name, reviews, and website. He met me the following day, and in about an hour, he took some great sunset photos on the beach. It was high tide, so we had to work fast, but he made it work.
