We did use a home inspector at her recommendation, that missed a few big things. Not only did he miss the 2nd floor windows being installed wrong, we also found mold! What's really messed up, the way NPI's contract is written (Home Inspector) they denied our insurance claim. Because of "provisions in the contract" it keeps them safe from any liability. Then why bother with the inspection? What a scam. Hire you're own inspector, be cautious of your realtor's judgement.

First, when IS a good time when a buyer requests a showing and 2nd, there is an open house 2 doors down on the date we requested the showing. So I will have no choice but to not purchase her listing and possibly purchase the competition. I've never heard of a realtor decline a showing. It's a short sale. Possible they are buying time by declining showings.

However, Mrs Shafer worked with us and my hectic schedule to show us multiple homes, until we decided on our forever home. She didn't try to push us into a home we could barely afford, or outside of the school district we demanded. She worked with us to negotiate a fair price with a difficult seller, and was available pretty much 24/7 by phone, text, or email. She helped me overcome some difficulties that popped up during the experience and gave sage advice.
