The changing rooms and showers are very clean. They provide locked lockers. The heated salt water chlorinated pool felt really nice with easy, walk-in stairs to enter the pool. The pool has multiple depths ranging from 4 foot to 6 feet all very visibly marked and also cute little rubber duckies help mark your location in the pool. The therapist that worked with me is Pam. She was very watchful of my therapeutic movements and corrected me when necessary. I was set up for some ice therapy after changing. I enjoyed this kind of PT very much and had minimal pain while doing the exercises. I am however a bit sore today which was to be expected. Looking forward to my next session!

I have gone to many PT places and this is by far the best! All the staff is friendly and very helpful. Pam is a wonderful therapist she manages several patients in the pool at a time. I was in pretty bad shape when I started but have progressively been getting better. Pam has realistic goals for each person. This is not a sports medicine clinic, as I said I have gone to many PT places and the focus was always on sports medicine and not all clients are are going for those type of injuries. Pam looks at each client as an individual and gives specific treatment for your needs. Pam and her staff caters to all ages I have seen ages 15 through 90 and all are getting treatment specfic to their needs.

What a disappointment. I had been there a couple of times before for the treatment of other…read moreathletic injuries and was happy with their service. This time it was completely different. The first time I went for my current injury, I had to wait for almost a half hour. I was then told that I could come back another day because the DPT was busy. I responded by saying I was there now. I'll wait. When I finally got in to get diagnosed, there were a ton of people in there. The DPT listened to my description of my injury and without even examining me, told me what my injury was. There were so many interruptions at this point I wanted to walk out. But, I stayed to a continuing stream of interruptions during the time on was on the examining table when she finally examined me, almost an hour after I walked in the door. Against my better judgment, I made another appointment. When I showed up for the next appointment, I again had to wait. Again, there were a ton of people there. The assistant PT had no idea what I was supposed to be doing and had to continuously go back and forth to the DPT who was again dealing with multiple people. I just walked out. They couldn't care less about me walking out and canceling all my appointments. Despite its name, this PT place isn't geared to athletic injuries. It is dominated by older people. (There is nothing wrong with that. Just don't advertise that you gear to sports. For example, the DPT clearly wasn't an athlete.) It appears that the service that was once the cornerstone of this place is gone. It seems that it is all about getting as many people in the door as possible (Read: $$$$). That afternoon I made an appointment with Sportscare. They are very passionate about what they do. I will never return to SportsMed.

They truly appear to enjoy their job. They treat everyone with a warm and professional manner. I have been a patient there starting in 2014 before a surgical procedure in 2016 and then after the surgery as well. I am now an After Care patient where I am not treated with hands on treatment but am supervised by the physical therapists who have taught me how to exercise so that I main remain pain free and strong. I am charged a very nominal fee out of pocket. I find Dell the Administrative Assistant very cheerful and easy to coordinate appointments with.
