Love all the signs that were around, showing us how the cathedral would have looked in the past or pointing out a wall or some such thing. The views from the walls of the graveyard are pretty. Lots of scaffolding and fencing around parts due to old gravestones potentially falling over and such. But still worth a visit if you're around. Best of all, they were free to enter.

We saw ancient engravings on a tombstone. Some walls are intact; others are long gone. To see the best views; there's a tower with 162 steps. If you just roam the place, it is free. We spent about 40 minutes exploring.

Central or CBC as its known is a fab church, really great. I went there for years until about 2…read moreyears ago. It is a real living breathing church with a vibrant life and represents people of all ages and walks of life. It is true to the bible with sold teaching and ministries and great kids work. The worship (by that I am referring to music in this context) is a mixed bag wth some organ and some modern praise band stuff. It is a large church with a few hundred members and is currently extending its building and adding an extension which will allow it do even more in the local community. For my taste it is not charismatic enough as I prefer the gifts of the spirit (and by that I am referring to prophecy, tongues etc) to be in use within services and also the music is not new enough for my taste. However, I still love it very much and it is a wonderful church for a new or mature christian or of course non christian looking for a warm, supportive and challenging christian home
