We visited this Carinthian bar to celebrate my Carinthian flatmate's birthday. We celebrated with…read morecopious amount of alcohol and Carinthian food! The Nudeln were really good...To non-Austrians I would describe these as dumplings, kind of like steamed dumplings (check out my photo I posted). I would recommend choosing a variety. I went for 4 Nudeln: mozzarella and tomato, garlic and spinach, meat and then the traditional "Kärtner Nudl" (Carinthian dumpling) made with potato, Topfen (curd cheese/cottage cheese, which Austrians use in so much of their cooking) and chives. They were super tasty and so filling. You can get sweet Nudeln as well, filled with Nutella or strawberry etc. The menu also includes traditional Carinthian cheeses and meat.
The service was excellent, great location, great atmosphere (a lot of young people in groups), modern decor and very well priced.
I would definitely recommend this place, especially to tourists, if you want to try some authentic cuisine from other parts of Austria instead of just Wiener Schnitzel ;)
