They sent out the fire department and they were there within 5 minutes. They helped me by counting all the pills and making sure that the right amount were there and ruled out that my son most likely didnt ingest them. They were very friendly and easy to talk to despite I was a little freaked out that all of this was actually happening. Thanks for responding so quickly and doing such a great job.

A couple of months ago, I was dumb enough not to remember carrying my keys with me when throwing…read moretrash outside of the house. The wind closed the door behind me and it was locked. I freaked out because my baby was inside the house alone; I ran to my neighbor and asked to use their phone to call my husband but wasn't able to reach him. A few minutes later, I decided to call 911; the operator asked me to wait outside and help is on the way. I kept talking to my baby through the door; I was in tears hoping nothing bad would happen. I waited for about 5min (might be shorter, but it seemed longer when I was anxious), the Santa Clara Fire Department came. They were all very friendly and patience; they calmly asked for detail information about my house and my baby. They tried to find a way in without breaking my doors; they quickly figured out a way to get into the house through a window. As soon as they opened the door for me, I ran to see my baby. Luckily she was safe, enjoying some videos in the high chair. The Fire Fighters didn't just leave right away, instead, they made sure to place the window net back on correctly, said hello to my baby and my dog, as well as checking the smoke protectors at my house. Embarrassingly, all of my smoke protectors were out of batteries; they offered to install new ones but refused to let me pay for them. They also played with my baby and my dog while waiting for the protectors to be installed. Seriously, I haven't seen a group of genuinely nice people in a long while. While I felt very bad for them to come for my stupid mistake, I was very thankful that they were able to rescue us in such a short notice. Thank you Santa Clara Fire Department! You guys are awesome.

The fire department is holding up completion of an OPEN TRENCH due the need for inspections.... Thank you for creating the hardship for us, which has gone on now for 6 weeks and counting.

Had asked San Jose Fire Protection for a quote on refill + certificate on one fire extinguisher…read more Quote was very promptly provided which was better than quote from big company. Technician arrived and figured out fire extinguisher cannot be determined. At that any point, The technician could have asked for more money. Instead, they provided fire extinguisher from their own inventory + certificate and still did not ask anything extra!! Very rare to see in today's business environment! Thank you San Jose Fire Protection. Will be happy to to do business again!
