I've used them for events in the past and now that I am getting married, I can't think of anyone I would rather trust to feed my guests. The owner, Betty, suggested wonderful sample menus and had no problem with me picking my favorite items from each to create a custom feast for my wedding. Right off the bat I already felt like I was an inconvenience for asking them to call me back so that I could pay them to provide us with food... I was interested in getting a quote for my wedding of 120-130 people which would include passed hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour, a dinner, and then late night pizza. They told me it would be at least $20,000 and asked if that was within budget before they spent time drawing up an actual quote. I told them it was a bit higher than we were looking to spend but perhaps we'd like to have them just do the late night pizza truck option... I was again told they don't have the time. They then emailed my fiancé back telling us they don't have any services to provide us that would fall under $10,000. Would never recommend these people to anyone and will go out of my way to share this horrendous experience with the rest of the people I work with. Thanks for nothing more than a miserable experience. If you want to come off as a bunch of pretentious money grabbers, you're nailing it. Housekeeping came daily to refresh the room with clean towels and replaced water bottles in the mini fridge. The room also had a coffee maker, microwave, fans, space heaters, and comfy robes. The complimentary breakfast buffet was the perfect start to our long ski days. Each day they had fresh breakfast options including French toast, eggs, meats, and yogurt. The staff was extremely attentive to guests needs, going above and beyond for any requests. Jared brought us a bag of ice to make our own iced coffees to take on the road. I believe it was Abbie who checked us in and offered clear instructions and guidance. The hot tub offered beautiful views, a large fireplace, and was open until 10pm each night. Everything from the ceremony to the dancing was easy and our company loved the indoor/outdoor set up. They recently built a new outside patio that could be used for seating or the dance floor (which we did). It is a covered patio that adds a whole new space to the area which was great for the flow of our party. I was planning the event from a different state and really needed trustworthy point people to contact and rely on their descriptions to pull the event off from afar. Whitney provided, photos, catering suggestions, decor ideas and was a great communicator. The day of the event, she and her husband were there to ensure set up and clean up were a breeze. They bent over backwards to ensure it was a success! Whitney did everything to help she could, including providing batteries for me that I forgot! I could not have asked for a better overall event and I am so thankful I found The Chateau! I highly recommend!
