Looking for room in Forsyth?…read more Come here. Really. My room had a kitchen. Air conditioning. It was clean. Everything worked. No loud obnoxious neighbors or threats of late night violence. And it is quite affordable and has weekly rates if your gonna be in town for while. The speedway cafe underneath provides good food. The bar is a great place too. Second best bar in Montana in my opinion. Bob, the bartender I always encountered, super friendly, entertaining, great stories, and great pours. It closes at 8pm, but if your looking for a low key evening with a few drinks the howdy bar is your spot. The entire staff I encountered were friendly, helpful, and just great people.

On previous trips through Forsyth on US12 (where it crosses I-94), I've stayed in another motel,…read morebut ate at the Speedway Cafe. When I realized it's in a hotel, I asked if they rented rooms... and indeed they do. So I've been staying here for the past five years enroute to a fall fishing trip in Minnesota from Seattle. It's a very old building, in the hotel business since 1905. The rooms for those staying short term are nice sized with a "full" bed. No plethora of pillows, which is fine by me. There is a small bathroom module that was added some years ago - pretty tight, but has a toilet, sink and shower/tub. It's clean, has very nice towels, air conditioning and a small refrigerator. WiFi has been elusive in my visits. As it's a railroad town, I get great cellphone reception so I tether my computer to my phone. The price is right - has a bar right downstairs, and the Speedway Cafe has the best chicken fried steak anywhere (according to my wife, an expert). You can even get pickled herring at the salad bar. And even if you're not eating there, take a look at the 3D mural on one wall. Incredible!! No free breakfast, but you have the Speedway Cafe right downstairs. I stay one or two times a year as I drive through in the fall. Note that it's across from the train yards. I used to hear trains, but they've cut back and my last visit had no trains at night.

The beds were super soft and comfortable and I got a great night sleep. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The pet fee was only $25, which I loved! That alone made me rate this higher because in this day and age pet fees range and sometimes they are just ridiculously high. I'm so grateful that is not the case here! Highly recommend!

Every member of my family independently decided they wanted to stay in bed longer than usual. After two weeks of varied lodging across the west, that is not a small thing. This was, unanimously, the best place we stayed across 15 nights of travel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped -- no surprises, no deficiencies, just a well-executed hotel room that does exactly what it promises. The staff was excellent. Ms. Beach deserves a specific mention -- helpful, warm, and the kind of hospitality that actually registers after a long travel day. THE ONE CAVEAT Breakfast ends at 9:00 a.m. For road-trippers keeping late-night driving hours, that's early. We wished they'd stretch it just a little longer. BOTTOM LINE If you're driving I-94 through Montana and need a stop that will actually restore you, Miles City's Sleep Inn delivers. Don't rush out of those beds.

We booked just an hour before arriving and were given a quiet room that was very clean. Everyone here is helpful and friendly. We were impressed to see students working as housekeepers for a summer job. The breakfast has personalized choices and was delicious. Bring some cash with you to tip the person making your breakfast and to leave in the envelope for the housekeepers.

This establishment from the outside looks like the typical roadside place. The rooms are very common in size and layout to anything else built 30+ years ago. The difference is that the service is friendly, very professional and are actual hospitality professional. The lobby is well furnished and nicely decorated. The furniture is actually comfortable to use. There is a little office center in the lobby that has a computer and printer that is set up so everyone isn't walking behind you. The pool area is clean and looks nice. There is no work out room but you can check out a key to a 24hr fitness place for free. That is something I've never heard of before. The room was very clean and the bedding actually felt good on the two queens in our room. The beds themselves were comfortable. The room had a large tv and all the bath supplies you need. The shower head actually put out a good flow and all its functions worked well. The room is for sleeping and it fits that job very well. The room and hotel are also quiet. The breakfast provided is actually good and has a large selection of foods including a hots. I would definitely stay here again without any question.
