Don't move here. I have actually called corporate a few times without any response regarding the pool area. I have witnessed and videotaped kids and a few adults (non residents) walk or ride their bikes into the pool area and stay all day . They scream like wild animals and start running around like crazy. I work from home and my employer had me put noise suppression on my computer. I had some visitors over and they even commented on "how annoying that must be" and gave me headphones because our now "public pool " is opened till 10pm and some of us have to get up at 4am to work . Rent is too high here to live next to a daycare center or YMCA. Walk the property. You will hear it . The apartments are cute but it just went downhill. It wasn't like this last year. Yesterday was a slow day I counted only 9 kids without an adult. So maybe it will go down but rent isnt. People are just moving. I mean it's simple. If you are going to have to put up with screaming (not just pool play) screaming that echos into the parking lot you might as well go somewhere cheaper. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. I moved out early due to repeated flooding from my upstairs neighbor. Twice inside my unit and a third time there was a puddle of water in my entryway. Maintenance let themselves in, ran my washer without permission, and left without resolving anything. Water damage was visible in the ceiling before I moved in. I raised mold concerns and got brushed off, more like ignored. After I left, they sent me a $237 bill: $160 for countertop stains that were clearly pre-existing, and $77 for water/sewer I already paid. (The ledger on their own payment app shows this.) I've had to practically harass the office to get any answers, and they still won't acknowledge or resolve any of it. Oh and don't expect a clean community. No one picks up after their dogs, and the pool area smells like sewage. Stay far away from this place. read more

However, the experience took a sharp downturn after a recent management change, revealing a glaring lack of tenant care and an overt prioritization of profits over people. Customer service has plummeted to unacceptable levels. There's no courtesy in the form of rent reminders, yet when lease renewal approaches, the inbox floods with relentless spam and pressure to commit, right up to the eleventh hour. Any flexibility evaporates if you're even a day late on payments or decisions--they're rigidly unwilling to accommodate, showing a clear double standard. Worse still, addressing concerns means dealing with front desk staff who exhibit unprofessional attitudes and a complete disregard for basic respect and manners. Interactions feel dismissive and hostile, turning routine matters into frustrating ordeals. My decision to move out was driven entirely by this subpar management and service; the property itself is fine, but the human element is a major deterrent. If you're content paying premium rents to a company that's transparently money-driven and indifferent to tenant satisfaction, this might suit you. Otherwise, look elsewhere for a more balanced and respectful living environment. read more

well I moved in with high expectations. upon move in i was greeted by a family of roaches don't worry management will tell you "you are supposed to see them that means they are dying" while also stating there is nothing you can do legally after signing the lease but let me tell you! there is bc it's not habitable and they legally have 14 days to fix. they also blessed me with a mold infested refrigerator and offered to clean it with bleach I'm two weeks in guys and my head hurts its strictly business they do not care know your rights and push back though! read more

The worst Corporate housing I have ever seen and for $3,000.00 a month! Who are they kidding!? Soon as I walked three flights up to the door, there was a pile of puke on the landing on the walkway between the door & next door apartment! Dog puke, people puke?? What in the heck?! Short: Booked apartment from out of state, arrived to a disgusting/dirty apartment with dead insects everywhere, smelling of cigarettes, and generally unclean. Received charge for fire extinguisher that i never had when i moved out. - I moved in June 2020 from out of state and had leased the apartment before arriving in state. The staff was very friendly over the phone and when I picked up the keys. The apartment however left a lot to be desired. There were large dead insects, including cockroaches in the bathroom and on the kitchen floor. The drawers, cabinets, and counters were all filthy and the apartment had a very prominent cigarette smoke smell. The garage was incredibly dirty, the garage door was bent and often prevented it from closing properly if at all. The fix for the cigarette smell was an air freshener in my vents and the garage door was kicked into submission so that the dents would not trigger the safety sensors. Upon move out we received a charge for a missing fire extinguisher. I stated that we never had one while living there and was told that their proof that we did have one, was that there was a picture from the previous tenants move out showing it which happened almost a month before me taking possession. I insisted we did not have an extinguisher and that we checked through all of our stuff as we unpacked it to ensure it wasn't accidentally packed. Keep your expectations low and make sure to take pictures of items not being in the apartment so you aren't charged for them later... read more

Poor insulation, but cute apartment. Each apartment comes with a large garden tub, and spacious WIC. Make sure to never get an apartment here facing west, because the windows are oversized with very poor insulation, and with the Oklahoma heat the poor AC can not keep the apartment cool especially on the third floor. This was my mistake on getting an apartment facing west on the third floor, but then again.. I had no idea the insulation would be this terrible. Montclair Parc offers a great courtyard to take your pet out, but never refills the bins with doggy waste bags. Also, it seems like NO ONE picks up after their dogs. If you are walking through the courtyard or anywhere in Montclair Parc make sure to look down while walking so you don't step into a surprise! All in all it's a cute apartment to stay at for a temporary time and the maintenance crew is pretty prompt. read more

I see the previous reviews are similar to my issue. I have moved out from Montclair Parc apartments and was given a $745 fee to REPLACE the entire carpet. They claim two stains in the living room, two stains in one bedroom, and two stains in the second bedroom. I called to ask about the charge and they told me their highly experienced carpet cleaning team that they use exclusively looked at the carpet and decided, without attempting any cleaning, that it would be best to replace the carpet. I can attest that there was nothing more than normal wear and tear from the one year I lived there. I called the office and was told a confusing calculation along the lines of when the carpet is installed it has a 5-year lifespan at which it will be replaced. Then it is divided by 60 months and if the carpet needs to be replaced before the five years is up, depending on how many months the resident lived there, it is the resident's responsibility to pay out the amount of the 5 years. Of course there will be some wear to the carpet after living in an apartment for a year and seems incredibly unfair to the resident that there is no attempt at cleaning the carpet before deciding to charge them $745 to replace it. Then there was also a $125 charge for trash removal. I was only charged $50 for "light cleaning" and when I was trying to figure out why they would charge $125 for trash removal I remembered I had accidentally left a large empty cardboard box in the closet outside on the patio. I can't imagine why I was charged that much when the apartment was left in a state where it only cost $50 for a light cleaning. When I called the office about any billing questions they advised me to call the billing department where I am required to leave a voicemail and wait for a callback. I have called twice and have not received a callback but I have received email notices threatening my outstanding balance will be sent to collections by a certain date if not paid while in the same emails, offering discounts on the balance I owe. I would just like to discuss the issue with an actual person. read more

I have lived at Montclair Parc since April of 2020 and l love my apartment. The complex is well-maintained and safe. I rarely hear my neighbors. The place has severely gone downhill in the past few years or so. Not the same type of office workers. The main office itself reeks of animals and is dirty. Good help must be hard to find!; maintenance workers, cleaning, property management and overall management/owners to allow that to happen. I wanted everyone to make sure when you decided to ever leave these apartment make sure you sign papers stated your 30 or 60 day notice!!!! Do not leave until you do!!! They will say ok or I'll put it in the system which they will forget and make you pay an extra month more than your notice!!! I gave the manager up front a verbal notice in July letting her know I will be moving in September and " she said ok I'll put you in the system" and then I went to go make sure, the manager was like " oh I thought you wanted to move into a bigger apartment" if you are unsure and as a manger you would call to verify!!!! So now that I've paid the 2 months already they are wanting to add another month!! I've always been on time with my payments and the fact the solution to this problem is to pay because I don't want to mess up my credit is just ridiculous!! I was very disappointed in steadfast management. I would advise against living here as I do not believe they are dealing with people honestly. I am a professional who moved in while my kids completed the school year in another city, and as I wait for my house to be build in OKC. I choose Montclair Parc due to it's proximity to my place of employment and because I liked the lay out of the Jefferson apartment. When I moved it, the place was anything but a luxury apartment. It looked like they moved in after a frat house was kicked out. The walls were riddled with poorly done patches, the metal doors had hundreds of dents and scratches, and the stains from water damage were everywhere. If I had not driven in from 2,000 miles away, I never would have rented this place. But I needed to live somewhere, and I'm not picky, so I stayed. I filled in the damage wavier saying the place was not in great condition, but did not write down every issue both because It would have taken weeks to finish the form, and I never thought they would hold me accountable for the preexisting damage. I am not sure how I could have done any more damage, especially since I only slept there, and was out of town for over a week each month. On the plus side, it is a gated community, although all others do is wait for the gate to open, then drive in. I did feel safe, but obviously others do not as both the front and back patio door (on the second floor) have two set of locks. If you decide to live here, fill out the damage report fully. But judging from my experience, I doubt you'll get your security deposit back. read more

Where do I start? I'm unfortunately still a resident until my lease is up, but after 4 years of living here people should know what they are walking into. The first year was great then STEADFAST MANAGEMENT COMPANY  changed management that is when the complex started to change for the worse. There have been 2 shooting since I've been here one at the pool and one right in front of my patio 1st floor. My neighbor was carrying his military weapons and dropped it and it discharged into another neighbors SUV. I've had several items that have had to be fixed several times and still isn't working correctly. Kitchen sink leaks "which has been looked at 3 times" the bathtub had to be fixed; because above the bathtub a 2x4 feel through the ceiling. The bathtub had a hole in it from the 2x4 which was repaired with puddy and paint which makes the bathtub look dirty. My kitchen was flooded 2 inches of water down the walls in the pantry which ruined food,towels, a large rug. The only thing  maintenance did was spray Kelts and and painted, but only the ceiling not the walls. I asked Celeste one of the property managers "what about all my belongings that was ruined", and she said "what about it". It's just getting worse. I can't remember when maintenance has changed out the air filters in our apartment. They will also charge you $30.00 a month for your trash to be picked up outside your door which they supply the small black trash can. You Cannot opt out of this service. Which makes the complex look dirty. If you have a pet be prepared to give a $300.00 deposit and $25.00 a month pet fee. I suggest you walk the grounds before signing a lease. In the 4 years I've been living here don't expect much theses apartments are close to being 20 years old and outdated. I've have been able to get to know several neighbors that have moved out since I've lived here, and everyone of them have had issues with STEADFAST MANAGEMENT COMPANY charging outrageous amounts of money trying to charge them with false replacements after they move out. Do yourself a big favor and look at the newer apartments around a 10 miles all around Montclair Parc Apartments it will be worth it. Believe me the management Lacy head management Celeste property management Will not care about your needs once you sign your contract. They only reason I have lived here this long is because I take care of my mother who is disabled, and it has been hard on her! To move would take a lot out of her since her heart attack. This apartment is supposed to be for a disabled person, but the garden tube is about impossible for her to get in and out of. So please check out other apartments that are not owned by STEADFAST MANAGEMENT COMPANY. read more

I understand the reviews that are not so glowing. When I lived at Montclair Parc I would always read reviews and wonder why they were so bad. Now I know. So my lease ended on 9-29-17 we moved out 8-20-17. We paid the rent for Sept. We were in our new place for over a month. Today (10-26-17) we got a bill for $260.03. I was told $120 was for 2 water bills. 1 for when we first move in was only for 4 days of water...that water bill was $23 which we paid and then they charged us for the month of september...the month we were not even in the apartment. We left a forwarding address, which clearly they did not use and I say this because we never got the last water bill. The rest of the money was for carpet cleaning. They cleaned it twice she said. Glad I am gone and would not advise anyone to move there. read more

Beware of renting here. My daughter had to end her lease early due to health issues that required her to quit her job and come to live with me in another state, but they did not care and have charged her several thousands of dollars. She was in very ill health and we tried to explain to them but they didn't care. They rented her apartment but are still charging her for her lease. We also had the apartment cleaned and they charged her a cleaning fee. read more

Rent increase almost $300 extra dollars when the lease is up. There was also an executive decision made for the office not to receive and hold your packages from UPS, USPS, FEDEX, and DHL.... You have to drive 15-20 minutes to a local office to pick up your package. It's such an inconvenience after a long day at work! read more

Yesterday a friend and I went to check out these great apartments! Not only could we tell upon arrival how friendly and caring the staff were, but they definitely take time with their renters. It was truly a breath of fresh air to speak with someone who has such experience and knowledge of the people who live there. We spoke with Janet, who truly knew how to sale, in the best way possible. Okay so full disclosure, you do get $25 off your application fee if you do a Yelp review but as someone who obsessively reads reviews whenever I'm considering anything, I recognize the importance of truthful reviewers. So, I've been apartment/house rental hunting for about a month now and haven't been impressed with the offerings on the south side of town. I wanted something affordable (around $700-$800) that was near OCCC and my job downtown and was low stress (aka well maintained, in quiet neighborhood, and near grocery stores/restaurants/etc). I viewed Montclair Parc yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. One member of the staff, Janet, was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to answer my many questions. The property itself has the standard stuff like a pool, workout facility, etc which all seemed to be well maintained, the grounds were clean and free of dog poo, and the show apartment seem nice and surprisingly spacious for the price. I'm rating them a 4.5/5 with deductions for the prices on their website not applying for all apartments of that style (mine had about $30 discrepancy) and for the lack of washer and dryer in the one bedroom units which is really more of an annoyance. You have the option of using a on-site quarter-operated laundromat or renting a W/D from them for $1/day for the set ($36.07 per month incl tax) which I'll be doing. Anyways, Montclair Parc exceeded any other apartment complexes I looked at on the south side of town so I will be happily moving into a Hamilton unit in September. Hope this helps! read more

So we looked at many apartments and this seemed like the best value. I had lived here many years ago when they first opened and it was a positive experience so I wasn't really worried about anything. And now I see that was my first mistake. Within the first month are breaker box inside of our apartment caught fire with my wife at home she started having problems with the electric going on and off so when she went to open the box and check the breakers it burrcned her hand because it was on fire inside the wacfll. They had to come and replace the entire box. I thought to myself they're a little bit older Apartments now so one issue isn't anything to gripe about, I mean one thing could happen anywhere. But a month-and-a-half later a pipe for the fire system exploded in the ceiling of our garage leaking Down the Walls, however it wasn't water it was antifreeze in the pipes so it covered the walls with a foul stench substance that could also poison are animals. It took three days for them to get someone out here two weeks to get the pipes fixed in the holes in the walls covered and they still have not repainted the garage so you can see the antifreeze all over the walls and it also stinks up our apt terribly when you open the door to the garage. So now to issues I'm starting to be uncomfortable and frustrated especially since they still have not fixed the garage. Then a month-and-a-half later and keep in mind the garage is still a mess r.and stinks we get Infested by mice. I saw oned so we put down traps and caught him within five minutes and thought we were super Mouse Hunters however then it dawned on med we might have more than one so we put dcdown six traps before bed anzd before we had fallenxd asleep had already caught two morce. Woke up the next morning and had four more cock and could see Mouse Poop all over our floors and in are on our counters and even inside our pots and pans. Then to my horror open the pantry door and saw two jumping up the walls to get to food in our pantry so we had to throw away all of our food. We are very clean people. This was on a Friday we went down and talk to them and the lady said she couldn't believe that because they never have anyone complain about mice but they would send somebody up to look for holes but when the maintenance man came up he said they were having very bad problems and he hqd seen them all the way up to the tgird floor, them all he did was put down two sticky traps. Short of it is they didn't get an exterminator too our apt Thurs, Fri, Sat or Sun and just in our kitchen with traps I bought at Walmart we caught 23 mice. We couldn't even get a call back from anyone Saturday or Sunday even after leaving multiple messages on the emergency line. I took a picture of the mice all in a ziplock bag because we kept being treated like we were being dramatic. zit cost hundreds of dollars for traps, gloves, repellant sensors, cleaning items. We had too eat out for every meal all 4 days costing us a couple hundred dollars becuase our kitchen was covered in pee and feces everyday no matter how often you tried to clean it and we had to throw away our entire pantry of food. The exterminator finally came Monday morning and admitted to us it was a total infestation and said he had seen one house that was worse but she was a horder and that he couldn't believe they were that bad with us being so clean. Nickle & dimers. If you try to break your lease they will charge you for every additional cost. Their gym is terrible, the equipment is old and unsafe to use. Their pool is dirty and is hardly ever open. Their maintenance is slow and does not respond at all in a timely manner. Pick a different place to live. read more

I rated this 1 star because it made me at least pick 1. i would rate it a 0. Not a pleasant place to live. The front office looks very "upscale", but the apartments are far from it. This place is extremely over priced and just poor quality. We lived here for 7 months while our house was being built. Longest 7 months of my life. When we moved in, I had to reclean the entire place. Counters weren't even cleaned, windows were filthy, pigeon poop covered the balcony-absolutely filthy. As previously stated in another review, it is extremely poorly insulated. The heat also never worked consistently. When we called to have it fixed the first time, the maintenance man was in full agreement that there was a problem. The second time he informed us that the buildings are all just poorly designed and to basically just deal with it. Thanks for the heip! Our average electric bill for a 900 sq foot one bed room with a den was $120-$150. Our average bill at our new, 2000 sq foot home is $115. How does that work? There is constant turn over in the the office, so it makes it frustrating when being told one thing and the next week that person is gone, or you find out they told you wrong. Frustrating place. Look elsewhere if you have the choice. read more
