This was incredible, not only for the food, but also the experience. We came right when it opened,…read moreso it wasn't very crowded yet, but we were lucky enough to get taken to the back and pick out our cheeses with help from the staff. We ended up getting three from Portugal (all different types), a blue from Spain, and a pecorino from Italy. We also got a salad with burrata, as well as a plate of Portuguese ham. Everything was outstanding, but the Spanish blue was the biggest standout for me. I really can't recommend this place enough -- the staff was fantastic, and the food was even better.
This was a great random find. They also sell cured meats and wine. The place is split into two parts. One side is more of a market, and the other side is the tasting room. After the sampling, we sat down and ordered our plates and some wine and kicked back to an amazing meal. The server was great and they even had high chairs. We were the only ones in the whole place too so that helped. It is nicely decorated and well priced. What else can be better?!
Awesome owner.

I was lured in by a sign for ginja tastings (they have chocolate cups, too!) and was happy to find a variety of foods and gifts. I bought lupini beans (my favorite), olives, cheeses, paletas, tinned fish, and more. I stopped here every day I was in the neighborhood. The staff is friendly and welcoming. It's the perfect market for all your gourmand needs.

The place is super cute and they have a great variety of cheese to choose from. The only gripe I have is with the staff. We were the only people in there and it seemed like we were inconveniencing the ladies working there. We had to ask for several things that we felt should've been complimentary with our board; like bread. The wine wasn't anything snazzy, like most of the Portuguese wine I tasted over a few days. They didn't smile or ask if we needed anything and they only cracked a genuine smile when we tipped them at the end of our visit.

They have a lot of cheeses from Portugal, which are hard to find and expensive in the U.S. There are other delicacies like pata negra, jams, cookies, wine and more. I was able to pick up quite a few things for souvenirs. Cheeses like Azeitao, easily over $20 a wheel at Whole Foods Market in the U.S., are only 7 euro here. What's even better than the price is that the manager can vacuum pack and seal the cheeses for me, with a little machine, so it was a breeze packing them into my luggage. There is no room for eating in, though you can most certainly have them prepare a sandwich or cheese platter to go.
