I said something about discrimination and was immediately told if I did that I could have my license suspended for a year. On my 2nd try before we started I asked the instructor if he could see my speedometer and he said yes its digital when indeed its not. this test was taken in a 2015 GMC Sierra 4x4 where the speedometer is on the right side on the dash board making it difficult to see from the passenger seat. Reason for bringing that up is they were marking me too fast or too slow. Among other things as well. And nothing I can do about it without recourse.

Consider taking care of business online, if waiting in line is not your thing. If it is your thing, going online and making an appointment before you arrive might be the best bet.

My husband came in for his behind the wheel test with an appointment time of 1050. We were early and they took him in right away. His examiner Gabriel, was extremely professional and kind. He went out of his way to make sure my husband does well with his test. He was there to help him and not scare him to death unlike other examiners in other field offices who seems to enjoy intimidating people. I can't say enough good things about the staff here. Everyone is smiling and all willing to help. I hope they get recognized and become models of the other DMVs

The agent informed my husband (I had to wait outside) that to add my name to the title, they had to also issue him new plates- a new MVD rule. Well, all said and done they charged him $418.06 in taxes to do this!! Ok... my husband should have asked the fee for this transaction... but, I'm sure he never thought he would be charged such an outrageous amount!!! Since it was a new rule I believe RL Jones should have made the customer aware of this very high rate increase. ‍ Back in the day the fee would have minimal.. even with using a 3rd party. Update: 9/11/2020 I now understand the situation. They should have explained better. Because I was being added to title.. they new Dmv rule is to issue a new plate and pay for a new register for the year. Dmv is issuing us a refund for the 2 year registration of approximately $800 we just paid in August.
