It's clear they genuinely love what they do, and it shows in how happy and engaged the kids are every day. The activities are thoughtfully planned and well-rounded, encouraging creativity, curiosity, and independence. My daughter especially loves the practical life skills--she comes home excited to show us how she can pour, sweep, and take care of her belongings. It's amazing to see her confidence grow through these everyday responsibilities. The materials and learning environment are excellent -- clean, inviting, and filled with enriching tools that support both play-based and structured learning. I've seen so much growth in my daughter since she started, both socially and developmentally. Highly recommend to any family looking for a warm, engaging, and supportive preschool!

BMS did an excellent job with the gradual transition and were very supportive for her. They were accommodating and gave us good suggestions for how we could support her. She's fully transitioned now and thriving. The teachers are able to maintain and fun, calm, and stimulating learning environment where we've seen some huge changes overall with our child's development. We really appreciate the organized weekly reports, month ahead schedules, parent-teacher interviews, and parent observations. We're super happy overall and will definitely be recommending BMS to anyone who's curious!

Talk to the owner of the daycare a few times before we meet, and it's a bit hectic because spots fill exceptionally fast here, its so close to Nelson Elementary. Prices were very reasonable for before and after school care (I paid twice as much in North Burnaby for for less), and pro-D days are covered (unless there are strike days... Don't get me started). The space is divided between school aged kids on one side, and the younger ones on the other, so the toys and care are different. Huge space, large fenced back play area, support for homework, open and frequent communication... I'm thrilled with this daycare and hope to use it for many years to come.

I am so grateful for the teachers' and owner, Ms. Edith, 's hard work at this school, especially throughout the pandemic when I had so many worries about safety. They always try their best to attend to the children's needs by providing a well-designed learning environment. My son would often come home with fun stories, arts, and practice sheets that he has gained so many social and academic skills. The teachers go above and beyond; I love the updates and photos they send in the app. Also, I love their outside playground, partly covered, so that kids can play outside even when it heavily rains without soaking in the water. My son has experienced significant advancements in his manners at home and his continued growth. Ms. Edith is a great communicator, an experienced educator, an excellent source for the parents. I am so, so grateful for Fraser Montessori. If you're looking for a daycare with great people and the best care, this is an excellent place for you and your family to check out.

They have both been attending since August 2015. They both like it there. My daughter always has good things to say about the owner, Miss Edith. She has the opportunity to work on art projects after school, which she loves. My son (who has just turned 4 years old) has been learning to read and write the alphabet and can now write his name. He has also been able to develop his artistic skills. Miss Edith is almost always available to talk to if I have any concerns or questions about the progress of my children's learning. The classrooms are very clean and well organized. There are many stimulating activities for the kids to engage in depending on their interests and level of learning. The kids have show and tell every Friday, which my son loves. He has really developed socially over the last 6 months as well. The centre is open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm which works perfectly for my schedule as I work on Vancouver, which gives me plenty of time to get to work after drop-off and to get back after work even if there is a traffic jam.

After completing a lengthly and outdated paperwork process to secure a spot, we provided more than 4 months notice that we would unfortunately no longer be proceeding. Despite the amount of notice, the owner refused to return any portion of our deposit. Families should be aware that this daycare has strict policies around deposits and withdrawal timelines, including terms that may force you to pay for the rest of the year even when you are gone. There is ZERO flexibility or reasonable consideration given, even with significant advance notice. I also felt the enrolment process relied on unnecessary pressure. We were given a short window to sign the contract and pay a non-refundable deposit, with the implication that there are other families ready to take the open spot. This dynamic makes it difficult to properly review all the terms before committing. I would strongly encourage any parent considering this daycare to read every policy carefully before paying a deposit and giving them post-dated cheques (which is also a requirement).

While the policy may have been mentioned, as first-time parents we did not realize how rigidly it would be enforced or that it would become the deciding factor for enrollment. Every child develops at their own pace, and it was disheartening to see so little flexibility or understanding. In the end, it felt like the school cared more about keeping deposits and making money than supporting families and children as individuals.

After circle time that teacher stood up walking with out care and bumped into my child and kicked her into a very sharp table corner, dented her forehead and my child started bleeding. The whole classroom wasn't protected, but right after this happened they started to put up all the protection for sharp corners......I was very upset and disappointed. The principal also called me after, but her phone call made me felt worse, and she said she was going to check back with me and I never received another phone call from her! If this system could let me choose no star, I wouldn't have given one!
