They kept a close eye on her, communicated with me throughout the day, and worked with me to make sure she was comfortable and getting what she needed. Their level of care and understanding meant the world to me during a time when I was already feeling emotional about being away from her. Knowing that she was with people who were nurturing, patient, and truly cared about her well-being gave me so much peace of mind while I was at work. I was at a local agricultural event they held for local farmers and homesteaders. My girl has a small farm of chickens so the experience was educational for both homesteaders like her and farmers alike. As I help tend to chickens and learn the ins and outs myself it was a cool experience to attend their 4H event. Being a native NYC guy I've always been curious what farm life is like and now I'm experiencing it for the first time ever and it's really cool. Who would have thought this former NYC thug would be enjoying farm life and attending events like 4H.
