The worst place ever. So I dropped expensive pants off to hem which would cost $40 She calls me back immediately to tell me there was a whole in the crotch. She was yelling at me to come now and pick them up then hung up on me. I walk in and tell her she is very rude and it's no way to run a business. She called me rude and said she didnt want my business. I was so confused. Why are you mad at me because I didn't know there was a hole in MY pants. I have a puppy that must have gotten ahold of them And I didn't know Nor did I ever accuse them of tearing them in the 3 minutes that they were left there. Tried 1 last time. had 3 shirts shorted, all the same length, straight across and 2 of the shirts were exactly the same (from Madda Fella; new cost $80 each). One Madda Fella and a black shirt was altered perfectly. A 3rd shirt was cut 2" shorter than the others AND the front of the shirt was shorter than the back of the shirt!! Hmm. When this "issue" was brought to the attention to the clerk at Moon Cleaners, she told us firmly that the tailor did a good job and nothing was wrong!! Clearly, there is something wrong. We even asked another customer if all the shirts appear to be the same length and she stated that they are NOT the same length. The BLUE shirt is much shorter!! We made no headway and left the store extremely frustrated. If they won't make some restitution, than I will keep writing reviews and posting pictures. Maybe I will have my husband wear the "great" new styled shirt!!! Stay away. learn how to alter and clean your own clothes. This business is awful. read more

Had 2nd pair of jeans hemmed within 2 weeks with instructions to center-crease press. As with the first pair, this pair was (1) not ready when promised and (2) not pressed correctly. Both are not huge issues if addressed with a smile, an apology and an effort to correct the error. Not Moon Cleaners. Tough luck, Charlie! I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Just picked up a pair of pants I had hemmed. When I got them back, they weren't pressed. When I asked the lady about it, her response was " you didn't pay me to press." Ok, $18 to hem and it doesn't include pressing? Seriously? I would give zero stars if I could. I took a wool sweater there and they shrunk it, they must washed it, instead of dry cleaning it. When I returned with sweater, the woman, said, "that is how I brought it them" ! I asked why would I pay to have a sweater cleaned, that would fit a doll? If there was a 0 I would use it to rate Moon Cleaners. I have been a customer for many years since they are the only game in town. I am a polite mild mannered customer. However I always go prepared to use my best " owner /retailer care" , since both husband and wife behind the counter lack " customer care" services. The expensive, poor quality of the cleaning and care of your items, the lengthy delivery time, the lack of accountability and the unprovoked atrociously rude manners of the lady behind the counter, justify a rating of 0. Following an embarrasssing experience in which this lady screamed out of control in front of people, simply because I showed a burnt spot and chemically stained spots in a practically new blouse they had cleaned, I have decide not to return because to continue to support them , only enables this abusive treatment of customers.
