This is a great location in a pretty convenient spot and I love the layout - there is so much space in here so that you do not have to move things around like in other studios during class which is just an added treat. They have a great variety of classes based on skill level and also preference. Personally, I love all of the different classes for different reasons - after two years of taking Pilates I still drop in on level one classes sometimes. You get out of it what you put into it and it is an amazing workout. The instructors are so encouraging and supportive. During class many movements focus on the mind body connection and the instructors do such a great job of explaining the movements and helping you do them correctly. I do warn you though - Pilates is highly addictive!

When you walk inside, you are greeted by a multitude of different rock climbing walls to explore including options for bouldering, auto-belaying, partner belaying, and even a wall that is adjustable in angle and pathway that you choose to take. Alongside the rock climbing walls, this location also offers a gym space with cardio equipment, weight, machines, and free weights/squat racks inside one of their rooms. They also host group yoga classes in one of the 2 yoga rooms within the facility that are included with the membership fees. The walls themselves are well kept and offer a variety of difficulty levels for all levels of skill. They even have a wall that is in the "outside" covered space which can be a pretty chilly climb in the winter. All-in-all, this gym and rock climbing wall facility is great if you are interested in bundling the two activities together into one membership. At the time of writing, I believe the membership fee is somewhere around $120/month which includes all of the amenities aforementioned.

Having actually helped lay the foundation back in my construction days yep, I poured the slab in the parking lot and near the Starbucks next door it was surreal to come back and see the finished masterpiece towering above me. My wife and I signed up for a starter class, and let me tell you, the excitement is real. The scale of this place is jaw-dropping; every wall, every route, every corner feels massive and meticulously designed. The staff is top-notch, friendly, and clearly passionate, which makes getting started a breeze. It's the kind of place where you can feel the history and effort in every inch, and yet it's buzzing with energy and accessibility for beginners. Coming back as a participant instead of a laborer it's a full-circle kind of thrill. Blown away doesn't even begin to cover it. I got a personal trainer. With two little ones, I decided it's time I get healthier. But, what do I know about fitness?! From day 1 - I was put at ease by Nick. He met with me, talked to me about my goals and discussed what sort of options were available to me. He never once made me feel like it was a hard sell - more, he was here to answer my questions and encourage me. Most importantly, he assured me that this wasn't going to be something that was going to drive me away. The team was going to work with me at my pace. I decided I'd go three mornings a week - totally crazy, right?! Now, I work with Vince three early mornings a week. Vince is awesome! He's fun to work with, super knowledgeable - always taking the time to explain things to me. And, most importantly, he's encouraging. I'm nowhere NEAR as advanced as some of the people I see, but Vince makes me feel like I have a place there. Just a few months ago, I would have NEVER thought you'd EVER find me in a gym. Now, I look forward to going!

It has a welcoming, large lobby, and it's well decorated throughout. There are quite a few options for working: Flexible seating so you can sit in any of the shared spaces, a fixed desk (sit/stand adjustable desk with some dividers), or a small to large office locked office space. There are ample phone booths and bookable conference conference rooms. Each member gets access to a high quality color laser printer and the break rooms are stocked with excellent Coffee and Tea. The only challenge is guiding your guests to find the elevator to Lifetime Work. It's at the corner of the parking lot adjacent to SW Barnes & SW Cedar Hills Blvd. Take the elevator to 4th floor to the Lobby.

It's very quiet, and the vibe is great for staying focused and productive. There's direct access to the gym too, which is a huge plus. The staff is always welcoming, and there's an open kitchen where you can help yourself to coffee and water. They do an amazing job keeping this place clean and inviting. The location is great for a co-working space. The only downside is the reception -- the cell signal can be pretty low, so sometimes it's hard to be on the phone. But using Wi-Fi calling has helped me a lot, so that's a good tip if you're planning to work here. Overall, I love coming here to get work done and would definitely recommend it!

I was told the class would be a free trial, but afterward I was charged $30 to the card I had on file because I didn't purchase a membership that day. I had been clear that I planned to buy a membership when I returned in about two months, yet I was repeatedly told that I "wasn't local," even though I live only five minutes away. That part of the experience felt misleading and uncomfortable, and unfortunately came across as a bit of a bait and switch. While I truly liked the instructor and the class itself, the way the situation was handled afterward rubbed me the wrong way and ultimately made me hesitant to move forward with a membership. I hope this feedback helps, because the workout itself was great. I just wish the communication and policies around trial classes had been clearer and more consistent.

    I've tried all types of gyms - from the budget to the boujee, and the one I've stuck with for years…read morenow is Orange Theory Fitness (OTF) - primarily because it doesn't try to be something that it's not. Their goal is to get you in, get you an awesome workout, and then get you on with your day, feeling like you did something awesome. The workouts themselves are great - at the end of a long day, I've got decision fatigue and it's so nice to know that I will be told what to do for an hour, given everything I need to be successful at it, and then empowered to do my best. Now, OTF Cedar Mill is a special place. I'm sure it looks like every other Orange Theory studio, but the coaches and staff simply make it different. You're known by name, they know what side of the room you prefer or what piece of equipment you like to start on. As for the members, I haven't come across an a**hole yet (despite feeling like I'm a magnet for that type of person). The members here are all happy to be making the most of their workout in, and aren't "on the make"; there's no posturing or performing, because that's not what OTF is about. It's about you, your hour, and your personal desire to get healthy.

Also, this is aimed at mom's who want to get their "body back" post baby, and I'm not a mom, and I don't intend to be. If that stuff bugs, you, think about getting over it. My butt and my closet and I am so happy I did. I've done this twice now, and I've lost almost 20 pounds, but I'm telling you I look like I've lost more. Eveyone else is telling me, too, and I've gone down at least 4 sizes. Trisha is really key in making this work. She's encouraging, she's sweet, and she's not a mean drill seargent, but you will want to do what she says, even though these workouts are really hard. And it's more than the workouts, you also track your food and turn it in every week, and do stuff to get to the root of what you need in order to make changes, you all work together. Don't worry, this is not about you being good or bad...it's just about helping you get where you want to be, and you'll get out what you put into it - you might even find yourself putting more into it than you thought you would! And liking it! This can help you make permanent changes. You are not too out of shape for this. Trisha will meet you where you are. It's totally worth it.

Trisha is a motivating and skilled instructor, both in exercise as well as nutrition. She keeps the work out fun but incredibly challenging. I have never worked so hard and never felt so good. Getting up in the dark to go work out feels like a drag when my alarm first goes off, but by the time I join this wonderful group of women I feel pumped and full of energy. I feel even better once the workout is over, knowing I have worked so hard and accomplished physical and mental feats I never thought possible for me. I feel like Body Back has turned me into the athlete I always wanted to be!
