My friend ended up leaving with THREE shirts from Aphrodite. The prices are fantastic! Very, very reasonable (cheaper than you can buy online). The shop owner was very helpful and friendly. It's a cool place. Lots of stuff. They not only have clothing, but purses, jewelry and some unique items. If you do yoga and like yoga-inspired clothing, you MUST visit this shop. As soon as you walk in there is a wall displayed with unique and cool t-shirts. My favorite was dedicated to Confusion Corner where eight roads come together in one intersection. This intersection is so famous that the legendary Charles Kuralt came to Stuart in 1979 to film an episode for his popular "On the Road" series. Pick up your I survived Confusion Corner shirt at Harbor Wear. They also have a number of other fun Stuart and Florida themed shirts. Other items they sell include hats, bags, dresses, accessories, and other souvenir items. They have a dressing room area for trying on clothes. After buying a few souvenir t-shirts at different events lately for as much as $40 a shirt, I found the prices here to be much more reasonable. I enjoyed chatting with the gentleman running the store, a transplanted South Floridian now living the quieter life on the Treasure Coast. Stuart is a more relaxed lifestyle and this store has everything you need to show your love for the Sailfish Capital of the World.

Women's Clothing One…read moreof the things that the town of Stuart is known for is that it is a very walkable little central district full of restaurants and shops. For us, it is always a nice night out - grab dinner, do some browsing and grab dessert - but we tend to go later and most of the shops are closed. We had the recent good fortune to be able to hit town earlier than usual and had over an hour to kill before out dinner reservations, so we took that opportunity to actually visit some of the stores that were open. Island Cotton caught the eye of my wife it there were some funky cool dresses in the window and so we wandered in to take a look. The place is full of women's fashion items: dresses, blouses, jewelry, and sort of everything in between. My wife had a grand time looking through the racks and the super nice people working there were just great with no pressure at all. Turns out she found a really interesting skirt and tried it on - fit perfectly and decided then and there to wear it to dinner. One happy camper to be sure. Prices were pretty staggered - but they seem to have something for every budget range- I'm a guy and definitely not an expert in women's clothing so you may have to do some looking on your own to validate that. Overall a good experience and I am sure we will be back through there in the future on another night out. Parking - it is Stuart town so depending on the time of year, it could be tough.

When giving a gift, I insist on hitting the bullseye for each loved one. I stopped by "The Salty Cabin" a couple of days ago seeking a gift for my son-in-laws mother who is also a special friend. After looking around the store, I realized that I needed help choosing the right gift. I called my daughter and soon realized that I needed her to see the choices to help me. The store owner, Ms. Hooper Flanigan offered to video chat with my daughter while moving about the store. This was a level of customer service seldom offered in the hectic world we live in. After experiencing the options isle by isle, my daughter was able to select the perfect gift for me to purchase and they gift wrapped it at no additional cost. This store is delightful with so many interesting and exciting things to see and purchase. But it stands alone regarding the way they treat their customers. Customer service that makes you feel like family is hard to find unless you are shopping at "THE SALTY CABIN" in Sewall's Point, Martin County, Florida.
