I have visited this store while visiting the charming town of Stuart, and it never disappoints. I bought a nautical striped sweater and Pistola brand jeans. The clothing selection is small but well curated everyday clothes. There were some great deals on Free People shoes in the back of the store (25.00 a pair). The women working at the store were friendly and helpful. There really is no dressing room, just a corner and a curtain, so that might be future improvement for the store. . read more

I have had at least a half dozen pedicures at Tootsies over the past few years, since we've been vacationing in the Stuart area...we recently purchased a condo so we will be here more often....and my TOES will be very happy!! Nicki does a wonderful job...my pedicure experience is always perfectly done, I love the space...so bright and cheerful!...and we always have such interesting chats about life in general!! Polish choices are amazing...even though I ALWAYS pick blue!!!...and I believe they also offer manicure services! That's next on my list!! I was visiting from out of town and planned to go to a different nail salon. When I got there I learned that they had gone out of business. I very nice lady recommended that I try Tootsies. I was very skeptical as I'm used to full service salons and this was a shoe store that did pedicures. I walked in without an appointment and they were able to schedule me for 1 pm that same day. No problem as Stuart is a great little town and there were plenty of shops for me to explore. About 30 minutes later I received a call saying they could take me in 10 minutes. Since I was close I walked on over and was seated immediately. The young lady who did my pedicure (Anna) was fantastic!! I got a gel pedicure, enjoyed chatting with Anna and I was very happy with the whole experience. Would definitely go again and would definitely recommend Tootsies to anyone. read more

Went in today to see their selection of OnCloudnova shoes. I was wearing a pair and wanted another. No other customers in the store and the 3 employees seemed to barely be able to greet us. I found a style to try on and carried it around the store for about 4 minutes, without anyone asking if I'd like to try it on. When I finally asked for my size, was told "no, that's the only one we have left" I understand that my size may not be available, but seriously no one could have spoken to us sooner to help? I was rude and couldn't even respond, just walked out. Is there no such thing as good service anymore? I expect bad service from box stores, but when entering a local shop that would appear to want some business, it's just insulting. Other reviewer give them praise for their service. Maybe it's who you know as I didn't receive a pleasant greeting or kind service. read more

I made an appt well in advance. Arrived 15 min early and was told to come back as they were not finished with previous client . I came back not once but three times! Now this wasn't a problem bc I had many stores to browse while waiting. Finally I was called to tell me that since they had an appt at 3 and I "wasn't" there I could not have nails done?!!!! I said yes I was there 3 times and told to come back. Do not recommend this place for nails!! I'm stuck going to a strip plaza nail salon . No apologies from this . Very rude sales people.. I was never asked if I needed any help or greeted. I went in to specifically purchase several brand name shoes.. I asked for help and their attitude was I was bothering them... I bought the shoes on line from EXE.. Several of my colleagues have experienced the lack of customer service and politeness at this store. I refuse to shop at this store and I have spread the word...No excuse for rudeness. read more

I cannot give an accurate review of the actual Customer Experience at Tootsies because in the dozens of times that I have been in this location I have yet to be acknowledged or greeted. I have gone in with the intent to purchase shoes and to try to get a pedicure and either time I have not been greeted or asked if I need assistance with anything. I have more than enough money to spend in that store; however, they look at me as though I do not have the status to be in that store. Love Tootsies! They do pedicures and sell great shoes and accessories. The owner has impeccable taste, and carries brands from Hunter boots to Lily Pulitzer, Steve Madden, to BCBG and Pelle Moda. Also sell Hanky Pankies- hallelujah. Great selection. read more

What's not to like, shoes and pedis...if they served martinis and chocolates it would be complete.

I have just had my Christmas pedicure and manicure at Tootsies in Stuart. I was lucky to get an appointment with Veronica and the experience and the results were wonderful. From the initial selection of color that she assisted me with, to my awkward exit because I forgot to wear sandals, Veronica was great. The nail salon is different from your run of the mill pedi/mani. Here you sit up in a pretty upholstered white old fashion chair and the manicurist uses individual foot baths for the pedicure. (No jets- which is a nice infection control measure.) My manicure and pedicure were wonderful. So professional I did not experience a pinch. (I bring my own tools which I recommend for anyone anywhere). While you receive your pedicure you can watch the people stroll in and out of the store and how they browse. There is no push to purchase here. Stuart is growing and is a very pretty town to shop and wander in. There are many tourists and I predict the town to grow in the future. This week saw the addition of a horse and carriage ride! How nice is that! I paid 35 for the sugar scrub pedicure and 15 for the manicure, plus I tipped. It was well worth it! Merry Christmas!
