I came here to have a bridesmaid dress altered. Maggie was very helpful and did a great job with pinning the dress. She also was willing to wait to actually alter the dress until a week before I needed it so that i could make sure the undergarment I purchased would work with the dress. The final product was perfect and I am so pleased with how well it looks, given there were pleats and lace for her to work with. Will definitely be bringing all my clothes here for tailoring in the future. Also - I paid a very fair price and I am so happy with that, as well. read more

Maggie did an amazing job at altering my strapless wedding dress. The length of the dress was too long for me, being 5'1, and she was able to keep all of the lace details at the bottom. She hemmed an 8 layer dress by herself. Amazing! She took in the sides as well, as the chest was a little too big. She also added bra cups. When I came in to get fitted, Maggie noticed the top seam was flipped out a little, and took the dress to the back to fix it. She gave me double-sided tape as well, because the top of the dress wasn't able to completely hug my chest, and the tape certainly kept the dress down how it needed to be. Without the double sided tape, the top was gaping and looked a little awkward, especially if anyone taller than me (which is most people) would stand by me and saw the gap between my dress and my chest. She wouldn't have been able to take in that chest part any more without making it too small in the waist & hips, which is understandable! I would attach photos but my wedding hasn't come yet and I don't want any pics online until then! Maggie was extremely nice both times I came to the store. I'm glad I chose Moonlight for my wedding dress alterations. read more

Terrible customer service. No working phone numbers, times are incorrect on all internet pages, and the door at the building shows times they are supposed to be open but no one is there. Limited options for alterations in Waxahachie, but don't come here first. read more

Read the reviews went there felt good about purchasing from a local store rather than a big box store for our wedding. Paid in full: dress, alterations, tux rentals, shawl, necklace, earrings, bracelet and shoes. I called a few weeks before the wedding to be informed my dress was ready for quite some time but she had lost my number. I went in to pick items up to find out my shawl was lost and she stated she forgot to order my shoes. Offered me other shoes and different shawl but I wanted the shawl that matched the dress and shoes that I had picked out and paid for. She ordered shoes and agreed to find or make shawl. I called the Friday before the wedding and was told everything was there tuxes, shoes, shawl and I could pick them up. Saturday I went to pick it up and my son's tux had been sent back because it was the wrong size and the grooms shirt and pants were there - no vest or tie. It was promised to be there Monday that day then when it wasn't there it was Promised for Tue and then 4 pm on tue and Then 10am on Wednesday morning at the venue of our wedding to start at 11 am, which she was made fully aware of. I had to buy regular shirt and pants for my son the night before our wedding as a back up and she gave the groom a vest that was close in color but not an exact match and tie, refunded the tux money and gave the groom a fancy necklace and earrings for me but I had already purchased some from her. A little after noon ups called to make delivery but our wedding was at 11 and we refused delivery as the wedding was over with. So while she attempted to make things right we still didn't have what we wanted for our wedding day. read more

This review is regarding the tailor service we received. We brought in 2 pair of pants to be taper in. It took her over 1 month for just 2 pants. We kept coming to pick them up and she kept saying next week. Now when we finally picked them up, she had tapered in too much so we had to leave them AGAIN so she could fix her mistake. One pair she could not fix because she took in too much and didn't have enough to let out again. Now for the other pair of pants, one leg was tapered in to 7 1/2 inches and the other leg was 8 inches. Her remark was; "no one will notice." REALLY!!! I will NEVER bring her anything ever again to tailor. She didn't even offer a refund. Smh read more
