In the past, I've had great experiences with Milke, but lately, it's been nothing but frustration when it comes to my merchandise. Every time I call, I get scripted responses without anyone actually checking on my repair. Recently, I went in person to check on my watch, and after about 20 minutes of searching, they finally told me it hadn't even been worked on--despite having it for a month. When I came back again, it was the same story: they were backed up. The whole time, I was treated like I was the one inconveniencing them. The same woman of color who had dismissed me before, both in person and on the phone, helped me again, and it felt personal since I'm a man of color. On the phone, when I complained about how long it was taking, she said she wasn't going to deal with it and tried to end the call. After I asked her to check if my watch had finally been repaired, she quickly hung up to look into it and found it had been fixed back in November. Instead of apologizing, she just said they'd left a message. I told her I had called twice after that date, but she brushed it off and went straight to quoting the repair price. Very rude. I won't be returning, and judging by their attitude, they probably don't care. read more

Horrible experience with Milke's Jewelers. Tried working with them on a simple engagement and wedding band August 2017. We were told sample molds would be delivered to us the following week (we live in Austin) so we could try them on. Nothing... Called in at least 5 times over the course of a month asking when the molds would be sent and how we can expedite. They had every excuse to get off the phone with us and all sorts of reasons as to why the molds hadn't been sent i.e. Their machine broke, they have been busy, etc. We had been promised at least 3 times the molds would be sent and delivered by X date so we patiently waited. Our engagement photo shoot was delayed. We still don't have the molds and at this point even if we received them we would throw them in the garbage. We do not trust the staff with any of our jewelry after this experience. We took off work to drive up to Dallas to support a family owned jeweler but we felt disrespected and not a priority so we will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

The service is terrible and Robert only treats you like you are important for a few minutes, then he disappears to the back and never comes back out. I needed a battery replaced in my watch and decided to stop and let Milke's Jewelers take a whack at it. I had never been in the establishment and just noticed it passing by a few days prior to stopping. I walked in and was immediately greeted with a smile and a "how may I help you". I informed the nice lady that I needed a new battery and she took my watch and said give a few minutes. It took approximately two to three minutes to repair and the price was under $10. At Fast Fix in the mail, my replacement batteries are never that cheap. This place was really nice and the price was great. read more

Milkes has been around a long time. They have a wide variety of nice jewelery and are great at fixing jewelry as well. My only complaint is they tend to be slow with things. If you plan to drop something off be prepard to wait a week if not longer for it. A lot of times I don't get calls when my items are ready. I have to call in and check on it. Front Office isn't overly friendly either. read more

I have always been pleased with Milke's service and honesty. I had a wedding ring resized earlier this year and their communication was excellent for the estimate and then the work. Just dropped off a watch today for repair and again was given a very realistic time frame of when I could expect an estimate and repair. I also had them look at my husband's watch which had a malfunction. It turned out not to be the battery and they up front with me that the battery was good, but the repair was not one they could service. read more

DO NOT take you precious jewelry here. They will charge you $80 for a drop of freaking super glue. Yes, SUPER GLUE. They should be put out of business! The store manager is extremely rude and is not concerned about customer dissatisfaction. I would not even give them a one star rating, but I couldn't post this review with out filling it in.
