Just ate at Moo's for lunch with my kiddos. I wish I would have grabbed some pictures, but we were eating on the go. We had the Boudin egg rolls, the jacked up burger and curly fries, the roast beef and Swiss sandwich with potato salad and two kid nuggy meals. The service was flawless. The food was delicious, loaded with all the fixings. In my opinion the fries were good but not as crunchy as I like, they were a little chewy, but still good. After several trips I decided to stop in for a visit and I am glad I did. I got the Brisket and it was tender and juicy. While on the smaller side, you're not sitting on top of everyone and the restaurant is very clean. The food was delivered quickly and the employees were very helpful. Oh my goodness! I have not had bbq like I did at Moo's Barn & Grill. A friend from the coast had recommended this place and so glad we went! I had the chicken and pulled pork, so tender! Sides were curly fries and baked beans. Also very good. Made sure I had room for the lemon ice box pie!! Yum! We stopped by here for the first time this visit to Natchez. I had been wanting to try their burgers, so I ordered one. We were greeted quickly, but there wasn't any available seating so we figured we'd have to eat out in the truck because it was raining outside. Fortunately, we lucked out and someone left right before our food was ready! I got a cheeseburger. It's fresh ground beef, and was seasoned well. I prefer a "regular" bun to the ones they use. It tasted good, but was a bit "dense" for my personal taste. Otherwise, it was a good burger. The prices weren't bad, and the bbq smelled and looked AWESOME. I'd try that the next time. There was a constant stream of people in and out, so it looks to be a pretty popular local spot. Inside seating was spaced out due to COVID, but they do have outdoor seating as well, if the weather permits! Plenty of parking as well. read more

Service: You order at the counter, pay, get a number, and seat yourself. You get your own drinks and they bring the food out to you when it's ready. The wait for our food was maybe 10 minutes at the most? The girl who took our order and brought our food was very pleasant and made good suggestions when we were trying to figure out what to get. Food: I ended up getting the Big John's Cheeseburger (basically a classic cheeseburger) with curly fries. Yum, yum, yum. This burger tasted so homemade, like off the grill in the summer. It was juicy but not overly greasy. Personally, I would've liked a little less mayo and mustard but that is more just a preference. Oh my stars the fries! So good and FUN! It had been forever since I had curly fries. These do not disappoint. My fiance got the Jacked Up Burger (lettuce, tomato, mayo, pepper jack cheese, jalapeno peppers, bacon) and said kinda the same thing - super fresh and just yummy. The jalapeno peppers, pepper jack cheese, and bacon made it different then a regular burger and worked really well together. They have other specialty burgers, sandwiches, po'boys, BBQ plates, and salads. There is also a kid menu. Cost: Super inexpensive! Our burgers were only $10! They don't cheat you on portions either. The burgers were at least 8oz and you got a mound of curly fries. Free refills on fountain soda. So we got tamales at lunch, and needed something for dinner, and what's better than a hamburger? Plus, it was fairly close to the hotel, plus it was super foggy that night and we didn't want to drive too far. So Moo's it was. Plus, the name was cute, and the place looked pretty cool when we drove by it earlier. It wasn't busy, maybe 5 or 6 people inside the place, and as we're looking at the menu, one of the customers started talking to us, asking where we're from (it was pretty obvious we weren't from around there, even though we are from Texas lol) telling us what is good, and what we should order in the typical Southern hospitality that we found abundant down there. He was super friendly and fun to talk to. You grab a menu and peruse at your leisure, then order at the counter. I got the bleu cheese burger and hubby got a plain hamburger. Y'all know I'm not a hamburger connoisseur. I like them, but it's not a top 10 food for me. But this was one of the best burgers ever. I wasn't even that hungry and ate the whole thing because it was THAT damn good.It was hot and fresh and they did not skimp on the bleu cheese....so if you don't love bleu cheese, don't get this! I would have liked to given them more stars since they seem to be family owned but what I had was not good. Ordered the shrimp PoBoy sandwich and they have no clue how to make them. Three shrimp sliced in half to make six pieces for a 12" loaf of bread. Had to pull the breading off to see if it was even shrimp as it tasted like fish. Instead of shredded lettuce it was one leaf with two wafer thin slices of tomatoes. Also tried the ribs because they looked awesome unfortunately there was very little flavor. Nice and meaty but no rub on them, no smoke line in the meat. Maybe the best they have is burgers so avoid the PoBoy's and the ribs. I won't come back though. read more
