The best: Service by Jack was great. Great happy hour prices! Recommend the hush puppies. Charbroiled oysters were new to us. These were ok but charbroiled is probably not my cup of tea. Raw next time. Had the catfish LeBeaux and it was ok - a large portion. I'm not a fan of etoufee on top of fried food as the fried batter quickly becomes soggy. I should have ordered blackened as it might have been better. The etoufee was thick and bland. Luckily they had hot sauce on the table which made it better. Not sure why they don't have any cayenne in the etoufee recipe. Accompanying bread stick was stale. Tried the famous Alligator and Shrimp cheesecake. It was ok. Very rich and interesting flavor. The Yelp highly recommended plantation cake is no longer on the menu.

Roux is always a solid choice for delicious southern food. From the appetizers to desserts you won't leave hungry. The seafood options are phenomenal with some of the best crawfish ettouffee and fried shrimp I've had. The seafood stuffed baked potatoes and seafood nachos are also great especially the nachos for sharing. The service is usually quick even though they are usually quite busy (and for good reason) ! Don't sleep on a quick trip to Natchez stop by Roux 61 for an unforgettable meal.

Good service and good prices but the raw oysters were ugly and scary huge while the char broiled ones could be bigger. Ordered dozen raw could only eat 5. They were kind of disgusting huge sadly.

I was in town for work and the receptionist at the hot recommended Roux 61. I almost skipped it because the Yelps were not outstanding. I have to tell you, I'm glad I listened to the positive and not the negative. The place is huge, has that Mississippi River vibe and decor and was easy to find. Staff was great. My server explained the menu and gave some great suggestions. I started with the seafood gumbo. I'm serious about my gumbo, and this was good gumbo. I had a Seafood Potato that was fantastic. I was skeptical when she recommended it, but it was great. Lots of crab meat, shrimp and oysters in a creole sauce on a huge baked potato. All in all a great meal, so good!

We went on a Saturday (11/1) evening so there was about a 20/25 minute wait. The atmosphere was lively and friendly. We sat near the back bar, the service was good and the food was yummy. We got fried green tomatoes, grilled oysters (both ways) for starters. I got the seafood potato but I swapped it out for pasta. The hubs got fried catfish. There was absolutely no complaints from either of us. We'd definitely be back.

The Oysters Diablo (grilled oysters with jalapeños) were fantastic!! Great smoky flavor, good size, and great presentation. Our server was friendly, prompt, and efficient. Would definitely stop in again and try other items on T he menu!

A good friend and I met up here for one of our "catch up" sessions. The location is very welcoming. The space was quaint. Our server was very sweet and friendly in assisting us in making our selections. Our food was yummy and the portions were generous.

I was traveling through Natchez and saw this place and I'm glad I did. The hostess sat me right away and my server came within a couple of minutes. I had charbroiled oysters they were delicious and nice big and plump, I also had a side salad that's full of fancy greens, such as arugula and other other stuff in it, and also had tangerine sections, some dried cranberries or cherries. I'm not sure which and pecans, feta cheese and I got the Asian dressing it was super yummy For my main course I had popcorn shrimp with fries, the fries or just frozen fries, but they were OK

We recently dined at Roux 61 Seafood, and it was a mixed experience. My wife had the coconut shrimp, which she absolutely loved--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I tried the grilled oysters, which were decent but slightly overcooked and still cooking for 3-4 more minutes boiling while on our table, with the cheese being a bit too burnt for my liking. We also shared the seafood nachos, which were okay, but I wouldn't order them again. The restaurant itself is very nice and has the polished vibe of a franchised establishment. Overall, it's worth a visit, especially for the coconut shrimp, but some dishes could use a little fine-tuning.

Coconut Shrimp!! It was delicious!!

The Coconut Shrimp was delicious!! The service was good! The ambiance was good too!! The Seafood Gumbo was delicious too!!

It's small inside, probably only about 10 tables or so. It's kinda like a pizza joint, but very clean and comfortable. There are brightly painted walls and it smells amazing! Service: You order at the counter, pay, get a number, and seat yourself. You get your own drinks and they bring the food out to you when it's ready. The wait for our food was maybe 10 minutes at the most? The girl who took our order and brought our food was very pleasant and made good suggestions when we were trying to figure out what to get. Food: I ended up getting the Big John's Cheeseburger (basically a classic cheeseburger) with curly fries. Yum, yum, yum. This burger tasted so homemade, like off the grill in the summer. It was juicy but not overly greasy. Personally, I would've liked a little less mayo and mustard but that is more just a preference. Oh my stars the fries! So good and FUN! It had been forever since I had curly fries. These do not disappoint. My fiance got the Jacked Up Burger (lettuce, tomato, mayo, pepper jack cheese, jalapeno peppers, bacon) and said kinda the same thing - super fresh and just yummy. The jalapeno peppers, pepper jack cheese, and bacon made it different then a regular burger and worked really well together. They have other specialty burgers, sandwiches, po'boys, BBQ plates, and salads. There is also a kid menu. Cost: Super inexpensive! Our burgers were only $10! They don't cheat you on portions either. The burgers were at least 8oz and you got a mound of curly fries. Free refills on fountain soda. It's probably a good thing I don't live around this place or I'd be eating burgers and fries wayyyy too often. If you are in Natchez Moo's is a must!

Ribs were not seasoned. BBQ sauce not house made. BBQ beans tasted like straight out of the can…read morewith a slight hint of bbq sauce/ vinegar? The sweet potato casserole is identical to one a local food distributor sells. (The highlight of the meal). Fried pepperjack cheese stick was disgusting! It basically was a tasteless cheese stick encrusted in a thick bread like coating. (Like a corn dog). $30 down the toilet..... Obviously the locals like it, because they were fairly busy. The back court yard could be fixed up/cleaned up for a nice outdoor dining spot. It was not clean as well

The history is rich and the details are beautiful. For NYE, they did a four-course prefix dinner. Everything was delicious. They served complimentary bubbly rosé and each course was cooked to perfection. Our server, Dao, was fantastic. We really enjoyed dining by candlelight and closing out 2024 with such a wonderful experience.

I got the Duck entree, the plating was unimaginative at best crude at worst. The duck fat was improperly rendered, making for chewy instead of crispy duck skin and fat. The wild rice pilaf was mushy and bland. Strike Two My wife got a Filet and mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked well but no way was that a USDA Prime dry aged steak. My wife wanted desert so we split the cheese cake. Seemed like a store bought cheese cake and not a high end restaurant desert. It was fine but not worth the money. My final gripe is the service. It was a Tuesday night and not terribly busy yet the servers were not attentive waited a long time for food, waters, and the check. Strike three. For a dinner that was $75 a person before tip I expected a lot more.
