When you're not local, you really need someone you can trust, someone skilled, responsive, and grounded in the realities of the market. Its can be a very hard time when dealing with the loss of a loved one and their property. Jacob handled this with sensitivity, respect and care. He delivered the appraisal faster than I expected, and the work itself was thorough and precise and was able to bring great insight and steadiness to complete this. It really stood out most was how thoughtful he is. He's clearly highly experienced and understands not just the mechanics of appraising, but the nuances of the local market and how to communicate what matters to a client. When we were on a time crunch to turn the place over to the new renters, Paul had the right contacts to get the place ready to be listed. We know we can count on Paul to manage our property and to handle the small issues that occasional arise. His fees are well worth the care that he provides.     4.5 stars rounded to 5…read more I found Paul through Yelp in August this year while trying to find a property management company to manage our family rental after we were finally fed up with the previous company. The last company assigned us a property manager who was unresponsive, lazy and incompetent. After contacting multiple property management companies around the contra costa area and interviewing a few of them, my family decided to hire Paul to manage our family rental moving forward. He has been managing the rental since mid September. I've interacted with him multiple times throughout the past 3 months and he has been very efficient and responsive. Communication through email does sometimes take a little longer for a reply but communication via text has been pretty instantaneous. Whenever I needed to get a hold of Paul via cell phone and I leave a voice message, he does reply very promptly. Please do keep in mind that CCPM is a small business and Paul does everything on his own so expectations of getting a response in 5 minutes is unrealistic. Compared to the responsiveness of the previous company my family used, Paul's communication has been great so far and I hope he will keep up the good work. CCPM's monthly management fees are very reasonable especially in the Bay Area where the cost of living is relatively high. With that in mind, the contract provided by CCPM is very detailed in listing all the fees that will be expected if additional requests such as annual inspections is requested by the landlord. I've interviewed a good amount of property management companies prior to selecting CCPM so I definitely can say that his fees (relative to the amount of service he provided) are very affordable and landlord friendly. The owner's portal is also user friendly and his monthly disbursement day is one of the best I've seen after talking to multiple property management companies. Overall, Paul is a very genuine and reliable property manager and even though we live in a world where no one is perfect, I can see him always striving to be the best for his clients. If you are looking for a property management company who can deliver very personable service, I highly recommend CCPM. I look forward to working alongside Paul as a team to manage my family's rental property. An update of our experience will be provided after our one year anniversary is up with CCPM.

I had been pondering the sale of my businesses, and was about to reach out to some contacts that I had gathered over the years. Since this was a cold call I was leery as to its validity. I did much research to confirm this was not a scam. Noah had worked up a comparisons report for my businesses. The report was spot on, and their insight on the the businesses caught my attention. We came to an agreement and proceeded. I was introduced to Cade, he handled much of the transaction. They were both on top of the transactions, listings and potential customers. Fast forward. Both businesses have been sold, in approximately 6 months, I am retired and could not be happier with the ease of the transaction. Thank you Noah Sudyka, Cade Norland, and the Matthews team. In addition, I would also like to thank David Weinstein, ( legal representation suggested by the Matthews team ) the legal representation you gave was outstanding.

Mathews did not fulfill their fiduciary duties…read more The realtors Jake and Ryan advised us to purchase a Sale Leaseback that Mathews was representing both sides on for our 1031 exchange. We voiced concerns about the time constraints and the lack of an existing lease. We were assured that because it was also a Mathews broker on the seller's side, whom they had a personal relationship with, they had inside knowledge about the seller. They claimed the seller was very motivated to sell and was intent on doing this quickly. The seller increasingly became less and less responsive. Jake and Ryan were blaming the seller's attorney, who is an attorney that Mathews recommends. The seller wasn't a real seller, it became obvious that he clearly had no intention of selling. The deal never should have been brought to market. We suffered a large tax liability as well as several thousand in legal fees for a deal that didn't close. Mathews failed on both sides of this transaction. Most egregious is that Mathews failed in their fiduciary duty to act in our best interests, instead pushing us into deals where it was Mathews representing the buyer and seller. I strongly recommend avoiding Mathews and these two realtors.
