I can't deny that they have beautiful pieces, but the return policy is bad. I had a piece that a spent quite a bit for it was a brownie pan which I used twice and washed by hand when I was washing it I felt a flaw which turn out to be a crack almost across the whole piece. I didn't have it a year but since I didn't use it within 30 days of purchase I was told too bad so sad this is their policy. Didn't make one bit of difference that I was a regular customer and have spent a few thousand on their products. Now I am sure this small business is able to write off any broken or damaged products as items are shipped from Poland, but the owner was not budging. I really have a bad taste in my mouth about this issue and probably won't be buying much more. My advice is to use any item immediately and if it's a gift tell the person you gifted it to, to use it right away just in case it's flawed and you don't want to lose your money. read more

I am so excited to finally have gotten a chance to visit the shop and purchase some lovely ceramic kitchen ware! Although it's about half an hour away from and West of Aurora, we decided to embark on a leisurely country road drive on an unseasonally warm and sunny Sunday in February. Gorgeous snow-covered rolling countryside to keep us delighted. The shop is located in an old building and greenhouse adjacent to their farmhouse. It's really well put together with a variety of pottery ranging teaspoons and teapots all the way up to covered casseroles and trays. The quality is really amazing. The ceramic is solid but not overly heavy, so it's easy to believe it can withstand freezing, microwaving, dishwasher washing, and baking. The main colors are white background with bright indigo patterns, with a little extra color (pink, peach, yellow, green) thrown in for contrast. Each pattern is hand sponge-pained on so every piece is unique in its own way. I enjoyed the peach blossom pattern, personally, and got a teaspoon, small mug, and butter knife in it. The owners is as knowledgeable as she is nice, and offers to do educational presentations as well to groups if interested. These pieces are perfect gifts for new families, for collectors, or for people who enjoy rustic but incredibly well made products. Each product comes with the stamp from the manufacturer on the bottom, as well as stickers informing you of the quality control process. Really worth your while to check their shop or website and order some goodies ASAP. read more

What a fantastic experience I discovered working with Rebecca! I placed my first order with her for someone special for Valentine's Day who has a polish background and is from a province south of Krakow. She is all too familiar with the artisans of Poland and made clear from the beginning that if I was going to offer her something from her homeland that I should be thorough in my research as there are a great many things that are not actually from Poland but sold as such. After speaking with Rebecca for business purposes I learned that she distributes from Poland directly and the authenticity of her products comes from her own personal passion for it. After perusing her site I thought I would give her a try and was expecting delivery timeframe to be weeks out just in case when I ordered the heart piece for Valentine's Day. Not only was it amazing but it also was shipped and delivered with plenty of time to spare! I have been buying more polish pottery for the last year and a half. I love the pieces and I adore the owner and her staff. I've been there in person a couple of times and have also ordered during her live Facebook shows. My orders were perfect, my items safely wrapped and nothing broken in transit, and delivered in record time. Rebecca, the owner has always been gracious and caring and helpful whether in person or on the phone, or Facebook. It's always been a pleasure to shop with her. The owner to this store is very difficult to work with. We registered for our daugher's wedding and as we found the people that worked in the store to be very kind however, the owner is a NIGHTMARE! We had dishes on back order and when we could not drive out quickly to pick them up she said she would not hold them anymore. We asked them to hold them for 10 days due not being able to go because of working and their hours of operation. We waited 6 months for them to come in stock! Once she agreed to sending the dishes she sent them to the wrong address after my daughter communicated her new address on a written paper in the mail and also left it with an employee. After not receiving the dishes ( due to their mistake) she made NO EFFORT to help us get the dishes. She lied on several occasions and has not contacted my daughter. The owner is unethical and does not understand customer service AT ALL. I strongly recommend other places to get pottery. The store has a large variety but it's not worth the the lack of organization and unethical business practice they exhibit. read more
