However, after 3 times going to the Surfside locatation, the counter service person, always comes up with excuses to not honor the Primecard. It is "well the machine is not working", "I cannot find the POS for Primecard", "I am not aware of this program" etc., etc. This Surfside establishment sellling Morelia Paletas, should be barred from advertising on Primecard and Primecard should take action. read more

I got two while in the area, which were the strawberry (which I covered in dark chocolate and waffle cone pieces) and the passionfruit filled with condensed milk (covered with chocolate, Oreo crumble, and chocolate drizzle); they were both amazing, and I really liked the condensed milk in the passionfruit. Also, I didn't get this option, but you can also get the s'mores option where they cover your paleta in marshmallow fluff and then brown it with a torch! They're super sweet, so not an option for every day, but a delicious way to cool off from a super hot day. Always exceptional service at morelia and this store specifically but today I took the time to make an account here to write a review due to sanitary concerns. Only one employee was working tonight and I think they were sick, the person could not explain loudly and clearly to my family members that I brought for the first time. The employee seemed to have respitory issues or something related as she was not able to talk properly with a low hoarse voice! The employee tried her best to answer all my familiys questions and we appreciate her effort but made it more inconvenient for us and even though a mask was worn we decided it better to come back on another day with healthy employees working! Terrible management to only have ONE SICK person working! Please do better! Even though COVID is not as big of a threat as it was, my family members were all elderly and most with pre-existing conditions and did not fell comfortable being served. read more

The flavors of the coffee Paletas was ok; but I would not drive out of my way to get it. The marshmallow topping came from a big bucket (almost like paint bucket) with a sticker on it, which indicated it was ordered from a third party. Since I usually prefer made on premises ingredients, I didn't like that fact. The spot is great location of Surfside with plenty of (paid) parking all around. Also, the service was fantastic! Honestly, the ice cream wasn't wonderful and the various flavors weren't flavorful- they didn't taste like the flavors they were supposed to be, they may as well all have been vanilla, nor was the consistency great. First fell in love with Morelia when we visited Miami 3 years ago and since then I have made it a priority to visit every time I am in Miami, it's that good. I've reviewed it before (one of my first posts), so I won't go too much into it, but basically you pick a paleta (cream or fruit based, some with fillings, some with ice cream sandwich covers) and then you pick a dip and toppings for it to be rolled in. What you get in the end is a unique delicious paleta that is absolutely decadent. Our favorite flavors are the Dolce de Leche and Sicilian Pistachio (dipped in dark chocolate, or coconut cream with coconut flakes or nuts or graham cracker crumbs or really anything they have!). Our kids got the cookies and cream and Chocolatey Fudgey Brownie, both very good (with dark chocolate and Oreo and Nutella topping). It is a bit pricey, but worth it! out of five cones!
