He said why didn't you do this or that, look buddy my goal was to provide evidence to see if I have a case, not for you to ask me what you would've done. Consultation is really expensive aswell for 1 hour. $680 for a small claims matter. Richard ended reaching out to me and gave me the information I was looking for. I haven't hired this firm but the consultation from him was helpful. Lynn on the other hand was garbage. I can't give it a 5 or 4 from initial interactions. This new review reflects my experience so far from this firm.

Very impressive law firm - call them, you will be glad you did…read more I will give Weaver Law Firm 6 stars if I could. I called their office after searching through countless of lawyers and by some miracle I reached Atty Richard Weaver himself. He was thorough, went through every scenario with me and he patiently answered the 20 questions I have. I am not a paying customer but never felt I was wasting his time. I learned later on from his secretary they normally ask $50 deposit for a consult which gets paid back after the consult. Never mentioned it to me during our conversation. Bottomline: Atty Weaver is knowledgeable, straight to the point and very thorough - traits you would want in a lawyer but more importantly for me, he is a good human being who truly wants to help someone in a bad situation. He earned me as a client.

Despite my fears of many months lost at work, Thompson Law Firm guided through the entire process with the best legal representation. I owe 5 Stars as well to Managing Attorney Jim Piel and his fantastic Paralegal Ms Dina Abad. Thank you all, Sir!

They always answered my questions and made me feel I was their priority. My accident was in Garland it was scary, and my family told me I needed to call Ryan the Lion, so I did. I spoke to Yuricsa who was my treatment paralegal. She was so caring and made sure I knew exactly the process and what was going to happen with my case. Would call to see how my treatment was going and just to check on me in general. She was a Gem!! She provided me with constant updates and never left my side. They treated me like family. The accident caused dizziness and I had back pain. I had strained my muscles in my lower back and neck. Headaches for several days and I had difficulties with my vision and had a hard time sleeping. They were so patient with me even when I asked the same question. From Yuricsa my case was given to Raquel. Raquel was negotiator who argued with the insurance company to ensure I received top dollar on my case, and she was amazing. Raquel has a superpower and a skill that can only be described as unique and masterful. Finally once we settled Raquel handed my case over to Juanita. Juanita was very sweet and cheerful when we spoked. She helped lower my medical bills so that I can get the most of my settlement. My attorney was Scott, and he has a great solid team. I was very lucky to have them handle my case. I will 100 % recommend them to all my family and friends. Please Call Ryan the Lion at 1800LionLaw.

Disorganized, Unresponsive, and Costly / Concerns Regarding Representation and Billing Practices…read more I had an extreme dissatisfaction experience during my divorce. My counsel's lack of organization and proactive strategy cost me significant time and money. I believe the handling of my divorce lacked professional diligence, organization, and billing practices. Key issues during my representation included: * Excessive Billing for No Progress: My counsel repeatedly followed up with opposing counsel without enforcing strict suspense dates or deadlines and mostly one-sided follow-ups. This lack of boundaries extended my timeline and inflated my legal fees. Unprepared: Despite my case supposedly heading into discovery and mediation, I received zero preparation or documentation. My counsel called me at the absolute last minute--while actively speaking with opposing counsel--demanding I immediately provide my "wish list" of demands. There was zero prior planning or organization. * Abysmal Communication: The office staff could barely answer basic questions about my case and was told to contact the lawyer for case updates. I once went three weeks without a single callback, only receiving a response after I called back visibly upset. * Lack of Transparency: Financial documents were reportedly exchanged with opposing counsel, but copies were never provided to me, nor was I consulted. * Administrative Errors: The office sent conflicting court date reminders--one for a date they knew was canceled, and other minutes later for a date occurring within days--which felt like unnecessary administrative billing. * Unnecessary Delays: My case saw minimal and very slow movement for several months. My uncontested divorce sat stagnant for four months, with final action only being taken after I pointed out the 60-day rule. Even then, they attempted to make me wait an additional 45 days and wanted to contact the opposing counsel once again. * Document Handling: Mishandle simple signature documents. The firm sent paperwork requesting a hard signature, then rejected it because all signatures "were not on the same page," and then told me to disregard it entirely because they needed an electronic signature via e-sign. I highly discourage anyone from retaining this firm. Their communication is incredibly slow and disorganized, yet they are remarkably prompt when it comes to demanding payment. The progression of my case felt artificially delayed, resulting in unnecessary administrative charges. I recommend looking elsewhere for legal representation that values client communication and financial boundaries.

This attorney made every promise to me while I was signing on and I left with a barely functioning decree. She threatened me with a subpoena for the lawyer in her firm I was initially matched with who suddenly disappeared after my mediation. Super high pressure. She's a mess!
