My case was referred to them by another firm. I spent a long time telling some woman how I had nearly died from 16 months of using Monjaro, a drug like Ozempic. My gall bladder was septic, and I was misdiagnosed 3 times before they finally removed my destroyed gall bladder. She acted like she cared as I gave her a lot of information. In 2022 my parents where in a car accident the day before Thanksgiving, I called Morgan and Morgan due to the being available in such a difficult time. The intake specialist was very nice and empathetic. The problem started when the case was assigned to an attorney. My parents where not at fault at all btw. When the law got the case we submitted everything to her and that was that. We spent weeks with no communication, and any attempts made were met with generic emails of her being out of office or just "busy". We apparently where then given to another lawyer. And we only found out because we called the customer service line and they let us know that our original lawyer was no longer available. We were also told that my parents joint case was separated into different cases, so the lawyer took 45% of both of my parents settlements. The miscommunication and lack of professionalism really showed for such a large and "reputable company. Never again. The was no value or quality in their treatment of my parents case. Well cases. I hired Morgan and Morgan in Atlanta Ga to represent me in an automobile case where I was hit from the rear while stopped at a red light. I ended up having a shoulder surgery shortly after the wreck as a result of injuries sustained. My case was reassigned to several attorneys that each had their own opinions as to what needed to be done to settle the case. I had provided the first attorney with a detailed spreadsheet of my medical costs and injury related time off work costs from the date of the accident to the date that the firm was retained. Somehow keeping this spreadsheet updating throughout the entire case process became my responsibility and took hours of my own time. The last attorney ran up substantial expenses preparing the case for trial. Just 2 days before the case was set to go to trial they gave me reasons why we should settle the case for a low ball amount under circumstances that were known to them when the case was accepted over 2 years earlier. I was upset that my case was settled for much less than my medical and lost wages costs and then I only ended up with a 20% recovery on the settlement that took over two years to finalize. I believe that a smaller firm would have been more diligent in aggressively pursuing a case that resulted in the client having an injury related surgery and very high medical costs. The case was finally settled in March 2025 and I immediately asked for copies of my medical records and depositions to have documentation of the injuries I had sustained in the wreck. They took literally months to provide the medical documentation that I was requesting. Morgan and Morgan charged me interest for any payout of case expenses paid during the time that they were preparing the case for trial, but refused to provide the calculations or even tell me the interest rate charged to justify the interest charged and deducted from my portion of the settlement. The Attorney told me in writing that this interest charge is calculated by a computer and she cannot provide any disclosure on the charge. I signed the legally binding closing settlement statement on 9/12/25 which included a hold on funds described as a delayed cost deposit. This amount is withheld by Morgan and Morgan to supposedly cover any outstanding bills when I had not been in treatment for 2 years and I proved to them that everything had been paid. The closing statement that I signed states that if there are no delayed cost expenses or charges received within 90 days of signing the closing statement that the delayed cost deposit that was being withheld would be automatically returned to the client. I have made several calls attempting to get this money sent to me and they either ignore the calls or tell me that they will look into it and send me the money. The last communication was an email response from Azaria Green dated 2/4/26 stating that she would check on the return of my unused delayed cost deposit funds. It is now 4/22/26 and they still refuse to send me my deposit recovery money that they are legally obligated to send by their own contracted closing statement. I have done research and this failure to return the unused portion of the delayed cost recovery amount is a wide spread problem. I believe that they think most people just forget about this money and they ignore the clients that inquire about their right to receive the disbursement. I guess the next step will have to be to contact the bar association. As several others former clients have pointed out in their reviews, someone needs to look into the delayed cost recovery amounts for all the closed cases of this firm to see if this is a deliberate practice to retain more money. Law firms have a legal obligation to release funds as outlined in the settlement agreement and holding funds past the agreed date could be in violation of the ethical rules set forth for attorneys. read more

It's totally unacceptable to hold up a case for a year while they decide whether to even take on the case. They should've been able to figure that out within a week after we first called them. My sister had slipped on mud that was in the driveway at the bottom of the front door entrance of a friend's house. She suffered a very serious trimalleolar ankle fracture. Medical expenses were over $140k. She was in the hospital for a month, then in a rehab facility for another 2 months. Couldn't walk or work for 6 months. In our experience, it was clear Morgan & Morgan only wants to work with clients where they can make the most with the least amount of effort. My experience with this firm was that they just seem to be too big a firm with too many clients. It seems as though their Case Managers and Attorneys don't stick around long either. Both myself and my daughter went through more than one while our cases progressd. And they won't tell you when your manager or lawyer has switched.
