I am have received correspondence from this Monge and Associates office concerning medical records from a physician practice. No signed records released was sent to the office and this correspondence was a threatening letter from that office stating that 30 days from now all records must be sent or Monge and Associates will be contacting the GA board of medical examiners and the Civil Rights of the US Department of health and human services. Mind you this was the first correspondence from that office. I call to ask about why this letter was sent but the girl who answered the phone was so unprofessional and rude I could not get any straight answers from her. Do not hire! I got delayed for months with my case, because they told me the drunk driver who caused our car accident I originally contacted them for did not have insurance. Therefore, they said I had no case, and they couldn't help me. Next day I get a call from an adjuster trying to settle with me. So I call another lawyer. Months of confusion and stress, and only one day with another lawyer turns out the drunk driver does have insurance. After the hell we have been through and medical bills that are piling up, Monge and associates was clearly the last thing we needed. Got into an accident and got referenced to use them and it has been nothing but a drag. Would've given no stars, if possible. I got rear-ended on 75S and the occupants that hit me admitted on record to Georgia State Patrol that they were speeding. My experience was pleasant during the first couple of months as, Tiffany Baker, assisted during the process. However, my case got transferred to another young lady by the name of, Bridgette Hogan, during the ladder months of my case. The professionalism and courtesy immediately went out of the window and fallen to an abrupt demise. I would explain to, Bridgette, that my insurance covered my physical therapy and she would constantly insist that it did not. When my case concluded, I received a $4,000 check, approximately. I definitely felt that this was on the lower end being that a smaller, compact, car smashed the entire rear-end of my Chevrolet Tahoe and I had to be admitted to the ER, via EMS. These events transpired during January-August of 2019---fast-forward to present day, over two years later---I received a phone call from a debt collector stating that I owe $1995 for the EMS ride to the ER. I immediately called the firm and they transferred me to, Bridgette Hogan. Not to my surprise, she lacked ownership, stating that my case wasn't thoroughly looked over because she received the case from, Tiffany Baker, and that the officer's citation did not say that I went to the hospital, via EMS. I politely stated to the young lady that that is the entire purpose of hiring a lawyer to take the case. I, then, asked her,"Is there not a check list for you all and do you all not vet out each case thoroughly???" I mean, I could've done a better job myself and the audacity to take half of what was entitled to me I found disgusting. Tiffany, stated that she had sent an email to the lawyer, as I requested; however, I have not heard from anyone and it has been a week, now. When I first retained Monge and Associates they were great. Charles was great. I am not a pushover and I refuse to allow anyone disrespect me. A year plus into my case, 4 surgeries, several loans against my case, hundreds of thousands in medical bills, Charles calls me and tell me that they can no longer represent me due to I was rude to a Doctor and he was told I had contact with someone on the property i was suing. I told Chares 2 months after I retained the firm about a Doctor I did not like and we switch to another medical provider. He knew my Husband worked on the property so therefore yes I was going to have contact with him. He could not provide any evidence when asked several times, so therefore, I am pursuing a legal malpractice claim against the firm. They are big liars and they break the laws themselves. I asked for documentation and they refused to provide it. I asked for Scott Monge to call me and its been almost a year and he has not called yet!! The great thing is I believe in back and white. We emailed about the Dr.'s and he waits over a year later to give me that lame excuse. I can not wait to see them in court!! I don't recommend them because they are criminals themselves and they could care less about you.
