Law firms are a hard business to review, especially personal injury law firms, because for the most part clients only need a personal injury lawyer once in their lifetime (if ever). As a result, a client can't truly compare their experience with a given law firm to the experience they would have had with another firm. On top of that, the law is confusing and often unfair. This makes it difficult to tell if a less than desirable outcome is the result of the lawyer doing a bad job, or simply a result of the law not being favorable in a given case. So, for the average client, it's difficult to genuinely and fairly review their law firm. I'm not a neutral reviewer for this firm. But, I have to say that in my opinion I don't know of a more kind, dedicated, skilled, and passionate group of people. The lawyers and staff in this office genuinely want the best for their clients, and have the skill and resources to keep fighting for them far beyond the point at which other law firms would give up. If you've been injured and need an attorney, you should strongly consider giving Morgan and Morgan a call. They might not be able to take your case - they don't handle every type of law, and no law firm can represent every person who calls - but if they are able to represent you, you'll be in good hands. read more

I am very surprised at some of the negative reviews. I left a review 6 years ago and just realized yelped had it hidden for some reason. I had a great experience with morgan and morgan. I was in an accident that broke my wrist. The other driver had no insurance. I wanted to make sure my own insurance company didn't screw me. I got a fair settlement. There was always good communication. I was not expecting a windfall. I just wanted to be made whole and some pain and supporting because 6 years later and my wrist has never been same and in have frequent pain. But the settlement was fair. Maybe the bad reviews are people trying to get way to much. Morgan and Morgan never gave me high or overblown expectations. But the lady I worked with fought to get me more than my insurance wanted to pay. I also have full coverage with uninsured coverage. Take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. If I had not had the coverage I did, I may not have had a case because the kid that hit me never responded to the letters they sent and I would have had to sue him and you can't get blood out of a turnup. But Morgan and morgan did well by me. Also there was a review that said they take 70%. Not sure how true that is. They took I think 30 to 33 percent. If it had gone to court it would have been more because duh, they have to do more work for you. They were always upfront about that and every single law firm like this does the same. Took a very bad fall over a step that was in a doorway at a car dealership. Broke my ankle and split my forehead open and my right eye is now permanently lower than the other eye from that. I sent them the picture of the step that I tripped over and they said that they doubted a jury would find the step to be big enough to warrant such a fall! There was NO sign to watch your step and the EMT that lifted me onto the stretcher told me at the emergency room that the step was definitely high enough that they should have had a sign up warning to watch your step! He told me to get a good attorney because he said that I had a good case. I see the Morgan and Morgan advertising almost daily with glowing testimonials. This was NOT my experience. They accepted my claim immediately. That was the high point. First lawyer told me the county where the accident happened wouldn't have a favorable jury. After that my calls were ignored. Over a year went by with unanswered emails and phone calls. More time went by when I called again. The first lawyer wasn't my lawyer anymore. The second lawyer was a lot more accessible but after the deposition, he resigned. I found this out after I called. Not only did my attorney screw up my (very good) PI case from apparently a lack of knowledge and overall credibility, but he elected not to pay my providers when I gave him permission with a lien. Now the providers are coming after me and he is facing an ethical violation with his on professional board. I was very much disappointed! Had to call the main office in Florida 3 times just to get anything done or even get them to return my phone calls. They lost my paperwork, had my records going to different locations, took way to long to return my calls, never even got a consult or suggestions from my lawyer and once they found out I actually didn't need surgery it was as if I didn't matter. When I taked to my lawyer a year into it, he didn't even have all my medical records. I was lied to and they didn't even want to meet me! I felt unimportant, disrespected and unworthy of their time. I should have listened to the bad reviews about Morgan & Morgan. They use a call center to screen calls and after several personal and numerous questions. They will say, "unfortunately we cannot help you". When asked "why can't you help me"? The call center will reply with an " I don't know, I'm just reading the response on my computer screen". My case by definition qualifies as a Medical Negligence case, but they are apparently only looking for cases that involve only a patience's death or who is permanently paralyzed.
