But I am not a client of this firm. I am not a plaintiff or a defendant in the case either. I kept my family member company during the mediation with my two young kids. Elizabeth Alexander asked me to sign the mediation memo which I am not a party to. I refused and asked her why I needed to sign. She told me that I had to sign. When I tried to leave with my two young kids, she told me that I cannot leave without signing the memo. I felt unsafe, especially with two young kids. And I had to sign the mediation memo. She dragged me into a lawsuit that I am not a party to and that caused a lot of legal issues. Now I have to deal with the consequence of that signature. I think Elizabeth Alexander is not qualified as an attorney and what she did to me was unethical. I believe Alexander is one of the highest-paid attorneys at Pepper Law PLC. If you are reading this message, please think twice before making your decision.

For starters, before I hired this law firm, I had reached out and expressed my concerns because I am pregnant and forced to do everything alone due to my husbands case so communication and transparency was very important to me, as I am in a very stressful time of my life. The Sales representative, Deb, absolutely took advantage of my state of apprehension and vulnerability. She assured me of how great this team was and how great the communication will be. This was extremely misleading and false. Fast forward, James dodged multiple phone calls after 3 weeks of silence post hiring the firm. It turned out it was because he had made a mistake on my case so he wasted 3 weeks of our time. Everyone makes mistakes but intentionally being ignored is NOT a mistake. After this, it is 3 weeks before our pre-liminary hearing. I asked if James had viewed body cam footage, as he said he would. I never got a response, or call back. I called before the hearing to again ask about the body cams and see what his plan was- and still could not get any response. Lastly, it is AFTER the hearing, still NO response or update. I had to look up the charges myself to find out what happened. After finally getting to speak with my husband it turns out that James in fact did NOT view the body cam footage, which was crucial and what we had discussed as part of the plan. Even our public defender did a better job than this. He did not litigate anything!!! I do NOT believe that any of these positive reviews or at least half of them are real. If you have time go look at the reviews and their profiles. Most are out of state. Which I understand Nashville is touristy however, there is no way that they are taking a majority of only out of state cases.
