The Sarasota office may be capable of winning your case, but be prepared for significant frustration when it comes time to receive your settlement funds. We have been waiting more than two months for three checks that should have been issued long ago. Throughout this process, we have received repeated excuses and very little accountability. We have also spent countless hours waiting at the office for scheduled appointments, often missing work, only to leave without being seen. The level of communication and follow-through has been extremely disappointing. The situation became so unacceptable that we were forced to involve the Orlando corporate office in an effort to get answers and resolution. Future clients should keep in mind that once the attorney has been paid, obtaining the funds owed to you may become an entirely different battle. If you experience similar delays, I strongly recommend contacting the Orlando office immediately rather than spending months chasing updates and payments. Regrettably, I failed to do due diligence on M&M Sarasota/Bradenton before signing with them. Had I looked for M&M on the Better Business Bureau website, I would not have found them. My nightmare with the firm explains why. M&M does not meet any of the BBB standard tenets. Advertise honestly? Nope. Tell the truth? No way. Be Transparent? Nein. Honor Promises? Not even close. They were attentive until they learned that the motorist who hit me was underinsured and had few assets. We called Morgan & Morgan There's Only One, to ask for help because a local hospital nearly drowned my spouse trying to get a scan while he was in an extremely fragile state. The hospital kept him for ten days because they messed him so up so badly. That's enough, I would think, but the hospital had the temerity to send a bill! With barely a hello, the person who answered the phone at Morgan & Morgan dismissed us citing "policy". What does that even mean? The patient advocate at the hospital was more useful. I was in a head on collision on 6/14/2015 my case started off rocky because my case manager either quit or lost her job. Luckily after raising a little cane I got the results I needed. Once my correct case manager was contacted everything ran smoothly.
