I was ready to go to those orange tents you see at the parking lots of Canadian tire but with Anna from Frozen spreading her bitter charm those tents are no longer out. My friend had recommended me to the Windshield Surgeon. Made an appointment bright and early on Saturday morning. Came in and was greeted right away. They took a quick look at the chip and estimated about a ten minute wait. There's magazines, coffee and even microwavable popcorn too which is a welcomed treat. After ten ish minutes, keys were given back and that ugly chip is now a smaller scar. TL;DR: quick, affordable place to repair your windows from chips and cracks! Free popcorn!!!

I had the opportunity to drive in heavy rain this week on Highway 2. Passing semi's always gave me pause, even in the SUV. With the coating the water ran off the windshield faster than the wipers moved. Not once did I have to speed up the wipers to see.
