Once lured inside, I could see that the store is small yet well organized and pleasing to the eye. After browsing for a few minutes, I noticed most of the products were predominately yoga supplies, active clothing, aromatherapy and incense supplies(exp. smudge feathers). The minute I saw essential and massage oils my interest was squarely locked unto them, so I inquired owner about the oils. The owner named Jessica, informed me that the she makes all of the sprays, massage oils, and essential oils on premises. That was excellent news to my ears, as I do regularly buy essential and massage oils from WholePayCheck( Whole Foods) and would prefer to support local small business. After glancing over her products that intrigued me for a few more minutes, I chose to buy one red cedar essential oil bottle, a cedar incense wand( for my weekly smudging) and three packs of my all time favorite hard to find Japanese Shoyeido incense. I am definitely going to be a regular shopper here. I also found out that Jessica teaches private yoga classes, I believe she also does group yoga classes to, but I am not sure.

I am amazed by this wonderful gift shop, I didn't even know it existed but I saw a sign for their…read moresidewalk sale on the side of the road when I was leaving an estate sale. When I pulled up their front porch was filled with the most delightful array of gifts. I started out Christmas shopping but there were so many things I wanted for myself too. I ended up purchasing several items at a steep discount including a Vera Bradley straw hat for only $5, gorgeous artisan necklaces for family Christmas presents, some Christmas decorations, a gift for a friends upcoming wedding, and finally a few Cat's Meow Village buildings including area landmark buildings, the New River Inn and the Bonnet House, for my collection. I started accidentally collecting them when I purchased a few inexpensively in a vintage sale and now I'm hooked. I especially love the replicas of the buildings I have fallen in love with in Florida (in case you are reading this daughter hint, hint). Inside the store I was dazzled with the array of gifts. The front of the store was beautifully decorated for the holidays and there were several Christmas trees throughout the store. This store carries a huge selection of Vera Bradley, home decor, coastal decor, holiday decorations, jewelry, candles, bath products, pantry items, jams and jellies, and apparel. I loved the lighted holiday snow globes especially the pop up camper one but my all time favorite items were the Spartina Florida purses and wallets. They have a vintage Florida map on them that look like the one on the table clothes that people who visited Florida used to buy in the 50's as souvenirs. I am still hunting one of those table clothes and I adore these handbags. I had never seen these before I am in love. They are pricey so this is going on my someday wish list. If there is one downside to this store it's that there was only one register and the sale generated a lot of customers who were buying many items and the ladies were slow. They are so sweet though and the wait wouldn't have been a big deal if I didn't have to rush off to other appointments. While I waited I snacked on their complimentary doughnut holes and orange juice. I have definitely found my new favorite gift store. I have some difficult people to buy for and I can find something for anyone here, not to mention all the things I personally loved. With the gift giving holiday season upon us, this is the perfect time to discover this store.

This is one of those places where you can find a lot of nice items that you might not find at a big box retailer...great items, great setup, where you wander around the entire store like if you are exploring room after room of fun things to buy.

My favorite part of the store was the owners dogs! They are the cutest store security I have ever seen. When you enter the store hit the ring button so they can buzz you in so the dogs don't accidentally slip out. The owner was super nice and let me know he was available to help but left me to shop at will. I have been to a lot of gift stores but this is my favorite. They have so many items I have never seen before. I could get something for anyone here including a lot for myself. I have my eye on some things I will be coming back for. It's been a long time since I've been to Bath & Body Works! I don't really use much of their body…read morewash or lotions anymore, but I do love their hand soaps and hand sanitizers. Usually, those are things I receive as gifts, so I don't often find myself shopping there for myself. I already have quite a few of their hand soaps, so this time I wandered over to the smaller travel-size items and found the cutest mini hand sanitizer holder. I paired it with the lemon-scented hand sanitizer, and it is the perfect combination! The mini hand sanitizers are around $2, although some are a little more depending on the size and bottle style. The little holder was $10, which initially felt a little pricey for such a small item. But I actually love the style of it, and for me, that made it worth buying. If I had only kind of liked it, I probably would have left it behind! I especially love having it on my gym bag. It keeps my hand sanitizer easily accessible so I don't have to dig through my bag looking for it when I want clean hands. Such a cute little find, and definitely something I'll get a lot of use out of!
