The Morris Clown is a lovely inn in this picturesque village that almost uniquely these days has four pubs, yet with a population of just over 1600. Inside it's relatively small yet cosy with a roaring fire and a crowd of loyal yet friendly locals. As they are a freehouse they offer a large selection of local beers, as well as wines and spirits. Don't be put off by the fact that you can't look inside when you are walking or driving past it; The Morris Clown is really a very traditional pub that deserves a visit and continued support. By the way, there is very little parking very close by as the pub is wedged in between houses and opposite a narrow lane, but you'll find lots of spaces in the Market Square car park, which is literally less that 2 minutes away. read more
