Dr Goldberg was very mean, I'm very frightened of the dentist, I had a broken tooth and originally had seen his associate. But Dr Goldberg, due to scheduling issues did the extraction. I was very nervous and had my hands up near my head, he pulled my hands down to my sides and pulled my head back. He gave me Novocain and pull the tooth out I had some questions but he told me he couldn't answer my questions, I would have to make an another appointment with the original dentist, I didn't get any instructions about how to care for the extraction site, I had to google the instructions, so don't rinse for the first 24 hours, don't drink through a straw and no spitting, so thanks to google I was provided after care instructions. Many people are fearful of the dentist; he told me that I was abnormal. I considered, and personally interviewed four other implant surgeons before meeting and deciding to go with Dr. Goldberg and his team at MCDA. This was an important decision that I knew would take time, patience and financial planning. I wanted to be sure that the doctor I chose, could not only do the work correctly, but that the process, the personal manner of care, the caliber and quality of the work and services would be excellent, and would reliably ensure optimum end results, while allowing me the ability to effectively dialogue with those doing the work. The dentist was cordial but the receptionist & the dental hygienist were two of the rudest people I have ever met. Unfortunately I was about 5 minutes late to the appointment and was met with a lot of unnecessary attitude from the receptionist when I first walked in. I did (and do) apologize but they repeatedly reminded me that we had "not a lot of time" throughout the cleaning before the next patient came in and were cold. Apparently though, we did have time because we finished 10 minutes before the next appointment. Honestly, if a 5 minute delay by your first patient of the day is such a roadblock in scheduling that you feel the need to be so rude, maybe schedule a little bit better. I recently moved from Carlstadt and was looking for a dentist closer to my new home. Dr. Goldberg and his staff are fantastic in every way. The office runs like a well-oiled machine and I never have to wait. The front desk is so organized, pleasant, and competent. I get several reminders of appointments. Truthfully, I have always HATED the dentist and I have had some issues in the past few years (cavities and cracked teeth). I ended up deciding to do a dental implant and I have no regrets. Went to Dr. Goldberg for a consultation for a dental implant. I had consultations set up with two other dentists. After meeting Dr. Goldberg, I cancelled the other two and scheduled him do it. It was a great experience. The staff is wonderful and he is so professional, friendly, caring and wants to make sure that you are 100% satisfied, which I was!
