So let me start off by saying I believe the good reviews need to be shared same as the bad reviews. I am a long time patient at this location. My wife has had more work than myself here but our family has been very loyal to this office and it's doctors. Has it all been good experiences? No and nothing will be anywhere. But my experience today was one of the best experiences I have ever had at any dentist office. I had a very bad lower wisdom tooth that was giving me a great deal of pain. I was seen by Dr Carson and his nurse. Dr Carson's bed side manner was amazing he took the time to explain everything to me. He reassured me all would be well. I was and am nervous every time I have to have any kind of surgery or dental work done. (I'm kinda a chicken). Dr Carson treated me with great care. The procedure did of course hurt a little but was over before I knew it and hurt way less than some procedures I have had in the past. Dr Carson thank you for a superior job and going over and above. I would also like to thank the nurses at this location. I do not know all the names but most of you go above and beyond as well. I can call one by name I believe it's Dana she is always so nice and upbeat. I witnessed her offer a patient her personal sweater when they were cold in the waiting area once. She rocks. The receptionists were very friendly and greeted me upon arrival, checked me in right away and I had no longer than a 5 minute wait before being seen by a dental assistant. X-Rays were taken and while most of my experiences with getting x-rays done were very uncomfortable, the dental tech made me feel very comfortable and did not try to jab those cardboard x-ray boards in my mouth. This practice has the latest equipment, using digital devices that are smaller and more comfortable, and require fewer x-ray shots to get the entire mouth completed. Upon completion of my x-rays and teeth cleaning Dr Johnson came in the room to see how I was doing, if I had any issues, and complimented me in my oral hygiene after reviewing the x-rays and checking the dental techs work. Not friendly at all. Dentist was rude and very unprofessional. I almost left this place in tears. I will never go back.

Very unprofessional staff. They treat their patients extremely poorly. Sincerely the worst experience I've ever had with any medical office. They seem annoyed with their customers and act as if they are doing people a favor by treating them. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. As seen in another review, my experience was terrible. I drove several hours for a consultation and was quoted a price for dental implants. Then I was told that a separate doctor would have to evaluate the second procedure. Upon doing so, the price went up 5,000$ and the second doctor had no idea what was going on. Between the two visits, the insurance manager totally failed to contact my insurance company and then had an attitude with me when I questioned her. I saw them summer before last in July and was told I needed to see the surgeon to have teeth removed. All my teeth need to come out but I could only afford so many and was asked which ones and I told them to remove the worst. I was then asked if I wanted a partial denture and I said no since they all will have to go. They didn't remove the worst and pulled ones to set me up for a partial. They also said they had to get approval from insurance and would call me to set up the date when they got it. They never called, I called them over and over for TWO months! I finally get the date and then get called being told to come in the next day since they had an opening then after setting the date and was annoyed when I couldn't change the date since someone had to drive me. THEN they left almost HALF a tooth in my jaw that now has to be CUT OUT! Oh and they also want more money than they told me it would be before the surgery. RUN! Don't walk away from this place! Asked if they can examine me whether my TMJ was gone or not. I'm trying to get back to the military. Passed MEPS but because I had a history of TMJ 15 years ago MEPS wanted a consultation done with an oral surgeon. Amy told me that the oral surgeon, Dr. Carson, does not do TMJ.. This is after she accused me of lying and not sending the proper request. I told her I was going to forward an email from the Army asking me to get the TMJ consult done. I even copied my recruiter. Told her it is on the thread and my email said attachment was for their reference.. She said she only looked at the attachment. Duh? It's an email.. So you should read the email what it says.. I think she got upset of her own incompetence. Really? He can't examine me whether my jaw is locking or not? That's what TMJ is. I don't need surgery. MEPS just want to know if I'm good to go. Had similar thing done with my back which MEPS cleared me for based on Southern Orthopaedic's Letter.. Not military or veteran friendly at all.. They've got an Air Force vet dentist that's why I pick them and their a Humana PPO provider.. Who knew.!?!? read more
