After 25 years I will no longer a patient here. Ordered glasses and the script was incorrect for both eyes. Went back for a re-examination. Told them I no longer wanted the transition lenses since both lenses needed to be remade and to order standard lenses for the replacement script. I was told this could not be done! "I'm sorry but that's our policy"...wow, last thing I care about is their policy which made absolutely no sense. I then asked for a refund and was told I would be charged for a 25% restocking fee of, get this, not just the price of the glasses, but the total cost of the glasses and the exam. Given it was their fault for the poor initial exam, you would think they might try to be a little more gracious. No chance, policy can't be broken or even bent a little! Another observation... the glasses and exam came to almost $600 and these were not designer frames or anything fancy. I now realize that this clinic absolutely over charges for glasses! Look online and get better products for 1/3 the price and if you have an issue they will take the product back to support customer satisfaction...not this place. 1 Star - Morrison Eye Clinic (Delavan, WI) Very frustrating experience trying to schedule an appointment here. I needed to renew my contact lens prescription because my current contacts are getting pretty old. A few days ago, I used Morrison Eye Clinic's online chat scheduling system and received what looked like a confirmation for an appointment at 4:30 PM. The chatbot gave the appointment time and confirmation message, and I even copied the message and pasted it into my calendar so I wouldn't forget. What I didn't notice at the time was a small line of text underneath saying they would call to confirm the appointment and that if you don't hear back, it's your responsibility to follow up. When a system sends a message confirming a specific appointment time, most people would assume the appointment is actually scheduled. Burying that requirement in fine print is misleading. When I showed up for my 4:30 PM appointment, the staff told me there was no appointment in their system. They also said they didn't have any record of the chat conversation from a few days earlier when the appointment was supposedly scheduled. So in the end, I drove there for an appointment that apparently never existed and still need to get my prescription renewed. If the clinic cannot properly support online scheduling, they shouldn't offer it. Recommendation for others: call the clinic directly and do not rely on their online scheduling system. read more

Messed up husbands prescription, lied about it, & tried to charge to fix it. (Long time distance correction left off an eye. We had multiple prescriptions to compare.) Total disaster on my glasses & unable to figure out, so I came out in a loss. I have a family member very experienced as an optician that helped me see the issues. My husband & I recently moved to the Delavan, WI area & were both seen by Dr. Osbourne, who is now no longer at the Eye Clinic. So this year my husband visited Dr. Moses for his annual visit. Based on last years RX, I ordered glasses in June 2023. They were not right & were sent back to the lab. Now it is August, they are back & still not right. We went into the office to return them. Something is not right with the lab they are using. The office manager, is the rudest young woman we have ever met. We are both Sr. Citizens & have never been treated so nasty. I have 3 pages of documentation on the ongoing treatment by her. I will never recommend this clinic to anyone. Worst experience ever. Left that office in tears. Tried to talk to the Doctor about it... she doesn't obviously care or know what goes on in the front office and that is a real shame. Very unprofessional and abusive. OVER PRICED GLASSES TOO. Giving a 1 Star is too high for the way we were treated. Don't go there unless they get a class for the staff on how to behave and treat customers with dignity and care. I'm sure it was a good place to go to "back in the day", but not in "today's world". We are on a fixed income and can't afford to lose that kind of money on a pair of glasses that I can't wear. I have been going to Morrison eye clinic for over 20 years. The doctors are great however the front staff is alot to be desired. Back in November my daughter was in for an eye exam and at that time she had been fitted for glasses. She told the desk that she would get back to them with credit card information if she was going to order the glasses. No down payment was made or anything signed. We found out later that they had gone ahead and ordered the glasses and put them thru our insurance. They are now demanding we pay for the glasses, which we did not authorize them to order and if we don't at least pay the $80 restocking fee they will turn this over to a collection agency. They are no way admitting that they were at fault ordering the glasses without our authorization. This place is lower then one star. Continuously get incorrect information on what is covered. The front staff is rude and clueless. Multiple problems on each visit, poor follow up an total disregard for patients. Avoid this place at all costs. I live in Delavan and you will be treated with respect and dignity at ShopKo so go there instead. You'll be happy you did. read more
