My wife and I have been bringing our kids here for close to a year and they actually enjoy going to the dentist! They have so much for our children to stay distracted so that they can get their teeth cleaned. My girls love the fish tank and pirate ship in the lobby. I think if they had it their way, they would come here to play then go home. My oldest daughter required surgery for some rotten teeth. Everyone we came in contact with throughout the process - from the consultation, to anesthesia, Dr. Morrow and the office staff, they all went above and beyond to make sure that she was well taken care of. We've gone to three different dentist in town and have been coming here for about a year and a half and my daughter loves this dental practice. She actually looks forward to her dental appointments. I don't know any other five-year-old who is excited about getting a dental exam, which was not the case at our old dentist. The staff are super friendly, the office dog is sweet and the waiting room is amazing. The goodie bags the kids get are great. At one of our appointments, we realized neither my husband, nor I had our daughter on our dental insurance and they worked some magic to make our self pay as low as possible, and provided us a letter to give to our employers to help us get her onto insurance. read more

Would give this place zero stars if I could. There was some major issues with this dentist office. Hounding me and calling me over and over to bring my children in for the 6 month check up. So I did thinking "oh how nice of them to remind me." Come to find out they had me come in a month early and my insurance wouldn't cover it. Also they took my son back to have x rays when it wasn't time without asking me first. I can look past a lot of this as human error we all make mistakes. However when I called this office today to address it I got Rhonda who was extremely rude and aggressive with me about an error that their office made! She constantly inturupted me and wouldn't even let me get a word in to explained the issue. Then she gave me a new balance and it didn't seem right. Had to call my insurance again and they verified my thought that I wouldn't have such a high bill if this X Ray wasn't done. When I called back the second time she said " Well what do you want me to do about it!" In an extremely aggressive tone. Your office x rays a 5 year old without permission and you bill them? Then have the audacity to get nasty with your client and say you still want to charge them? Need some extrem customer service makeover! I was extremely patient and nice trying to explain my problem and I have never been treated so badly. Too bad, won't be going here again. And when I said that Rhonda got even ruder and was like "What's your credit card number!" Do your self a favor and take you business somewhere else, like seriously anywhere else. read more

Horribly rude dentist. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Office visit advertised for free until 3 that I saw at my pediatrician office. Felt it was a good opportunity to check my 1 year olds oral health. Seemingly he was having problems I was unaware of and I was treated very poorly and though I was ignorant. The information was fear based , not based on science and not kind at all. Horrible experience. I would never trust the hands of this dentist on my child. The dental hygienists are amazing. They take their time and make sure your child feels at ease. My 7 year old has autism and hasn't had positive experiences at a previous dentist. The office is nice and very appealing and comforting to kids. But they run a scheme I've found to be typical for all the really nice, popular dentistry offices here. They never can say how much something is going to cost until the service has been performed and you're stuck with paying whatever they've decided you owe. We cancelled our appointments and stopped doing business with them after the third visit and same runaround about how much my son's dental work would cost us. read more

Took my two year-old son for his first dentist visit and did not like the way Dr. Edwards talked to him. She kept chastising him for screaming because he was scared. Said he needed to stop because he was scaring the babies. Said if he hadn't "hopped around and made such a fuss" it would have been a lot easier. Then said next time he comes he needs to not scream so much so he doesn't wake up all the babies. Just not the way you talk to a scared kid, in my opinion. I understand you don't want a kid screaming and scaring others. But say stuff like, "It's okay, we're almost done." or "See, it doesn't hurt. You don't need to be scared." But she was getting onto him instead. We won't be back. read more

Had heard great things about Dr Lai and her dental pediatric dental practice so when it came time for my 3 year old to see a dentist she was the choice we made. To be fair, the office itself is great and has lots of children's toys and things to occupy their minds as we all know how little kids can be fearful of the dentist. The front office staff is nice too. Now, Dr. Lai is a nice person. However, her professionalism and bedside manner have plenty of opportunity for improvement. She wasn't very patient or accommodating with my daughter and basically gave no recommendation or course of plan how to proceed with a cavity that my daughter may or may not have. Xrays were hard to get with a 3 year old. Well, if you have outdated and non digital xray equipment I could see how hard it is to get a 3 year old to not be scared when taking xrays. Anyhow, suffice to say we took our daughter to a dentist in Phoenix and it was like night and day. So loving with my daughter and getting xrays and a mouth exam were never an issue. As well as flossing! I am certain that Dr. Lai is a good dentist for some, just not the right fit here. read more

My children have known Dr. Kerry for a long time and were very excited to start getting their dental work done with her. The office is more then kid friendly, its fun and engaging and something a child looks forward to going to! All the staff we have encountered are extremely warm and always greet their patients with a smile. The care is top notch and all appointments are completed in a timely fashion. In addition to the professional and quality of care my children receive, my favorite thing about this practice is the communication they provide parents. After a visit, a staff member meets with you in a consult room to go over the visit and to explain any additional procedures that will be needed. The dentist also speaks to you and reviews the dental plan for your child. Doctor visits are not fun but this group makes seeing the dentist a delight!! Our family loves it!!! read more

Do not use this office! I took my 7 year old in last week and she had a terrible experience! We went in for two fillings. They brought her out after 20 minutes, telling me she struggled too much for them to do any work on her. In the process, they knocked out her front tooth. It was loose, but not THAT loose! Her front gums were swollen and bruised. Later that afternoon, a fingerprint bruise showed up under her chin. Keep in mind that no instruments were used. The swelling and bruising was from their rough treatment. I am filing a complaint with the BBB! read more

We love this office! I always hated the dentist as a child, but my kids get so excited to come! All of the doctors are professional and courteous. One of my children has some pretty big dental concerns and Dr. Lai sat with me and went over the various treatment options. She was very gracious when I "panicked" and gave me the time to regroup without making me feel like I was taking up her time. When Dr. Morrow had a small practice, he was very hands-on. Now, while his office is state of the art, it is like a factory. There's a constant conveyer belt of kids through and no time for any hands-on experience. If they had a negative star I would have clicked it. I am so very disappointed. took my 6 year old in for teeth cleaning. They said she had 8 cavities. They were not in my network so we had a second opinion. The second opinion was way different. 4 cavities and no caps needed. Received check from my insurance for payment for Morrow, Lai & Edwars Pediatric Dentistry mailed it to them. I still owe $78.00 on top of what my insurance paid. 300.00 for a basic cleaning and extras. Absolutely no work done $300.00. read more

I would not recommend this dentistry group to anyone looking for quality care for their children. My daughter fell and broke her front tooth last night and was evaluated there today. We were referred to a endodontist who confirmed she didn't need a root canal at this time and also suggested the part of the tooth that was chipped off be bonded back to the existing tooth. They referred us back to Dr. Lai, where I was told that they could build the tooth up and make it look like her tooth did before she broke it and that bonding the chipped portion to the remaining tooth was not an option. After Dr. Lai completed her "work", the tooth looks nothing like it did before! It's longer than the other front tooth and also looks like it's pointing in the other direction. When I expressed my concern to Dr. Lai, she was incredibly unprofessional saying "oh my god, why don't you understand?". As both a parent and a business owner, I was extremely taken aback by her behavior. I would never treat a client in that manner, especially if it was something involving their child. I immediately phoned my dentist after leaving and was told there were other options that would have been much more aesthetically pleasing and long lasting, including bonding the part of the tooth that chipped off back onto the tooth to maintain the shape as the endodontist suggested. As a teenager, my daughter is concerned with how she looks and with the advancement of dentistry today, there's no reason she should not be able to be proud of her smile. Now my daughter will be forced to endure additional work to repair the mistake of Dr. Lai. If she didn't have the precision to do acceptable repairs, she should have referred us out to a dentist that is more skilled. Further, Dr. Lai needs to seriously evaluate how she treats her patients and their parents and should attempt to act like a professional in the dental field instead of someone who clearly doesn't care about their patients simply because she has inferior skills. I now know why so many parents have complained about this facility and left to find higher quality care elsewhere. Save yourself and your children the trauma and seek treatment elsewhere. read more
