When you complain Mrs Bragg quickly becomes rude and dismissive. They won't honor simple requests like classroom changes or any other suggestions, regardless of the situation. The counselors shouldn't counsel a trash can, definitely not a child. Mrs Lauchlan is pretty good at accomplishing nothing. Mr Lawrence isn't certified and he has the maturity level of a 6th grader. Bottom line: Look at the test scores compared to other private schools. The kids complain about the lunch. The co-curricular and athletic options are good. Your kid will be bullied. Your kids will receive a public school education with perks. Don't waste your money.

The thing that concerns me is the actual facility and the secretary at the front desk Ms. Barnes. First of all there is no reason why I should smell urine walking down the halls. That is absolutely disgusting. When you go into the bathrooms they don't even have soap. I volunteered one day and I watched as the teacher gave them sanitizer as they were walking out of the bathroom. Just sanitizer on those germy little hands leaving out of a bathroom that already smells like pee that's been sitting for years. Now Ms. Barnes , without going into full detail her attitude sucks. If your not happy at the front desk someone else will love your job, move on and save some of us parents the despair of having to see your face or speak to you. My daughter will not be finishing at Marbut, despite being a theme school I believe there should be more clubs for kids k-3 as well. They got a new principle so hopefully he will make the necessary changes. Really this review deserves 2 stars but because I love the teachers which is most important I will give 3 stars since I am the first to review. The Waldorf School has been a magical experience for our daughter, especially during such uncertain…read moretimes. The quality of teachers and administration is beyond amazing. The community is open-hearted and the education and social setting has allowed our daughter to transform her anxiety into confidence and joy. Simply put, she LOVES school and begs me to let her stay as long as possible in aftercare. The way the administration has reinvented in-person learning during the pandemic is nothing short of inspirational. The outdoor classrooms are located on 6-acre, wooded campus that is buzzing with excitement, music and laughter. As an adult what I've discovered in my career (and life) is that I'm happiest during moments of being creative. This being said, the most significant thing I've witnessed in our daughter's journey at Waldorf is a blossoming of her inherent creativity which translates into more moments of happiness. As a mother I couldn't want anything more for my child. If you're looking for a heart-centered school that will nurture child's hunger to learn, grow and be be happy, I strongly encourage you to schedule a tour and whiteness the beauty of this education and school!
