We are so thrilled to be in our first home, thanks to the hard work and persistence of Cornelia and Amy! Buying a home is a really intimidating process, and on top of that we were applying for a VA loan, so needed to feel confident that we were working with experts. As soon as we met Cornelia, we were reassured that we were in the right hands. Cornelia has years of experience (especially with VA loans) and a demonstrated passion for the industry she's in and it shows. She answered all of our million questions, is incredibly knowledgeable about the home buying/loan process and was available all the time (she took our calls at 10pm!). Overall she made the entire process so much easier than we thought it would be and took care of all the nitty gritty paperwork and liaising with our lender. But what truly set them apart was Cornelia's genuine customer service and attention to details. First I will start with what many of you reading this will care about most: He saved me a LOT of money! When I was shopping for a mortgage, I was of course interested in what sort of interest rate I would get but I also cared about what my closing costs would look like and my monthly payment and he got these down a LOT lower than other lenders were able to and then he did more than that, his final numbers at the time of closing were even lower than what he originally gave me. No ugly surprises or extra fees tacked on at the end. So I put that here first because I know that everyone cares about money. Now lets get to some of the other important things that made Mark really stand out to me. When I was shopping around for a lender, the other lenders were very quick to down talk each other and say that the other guy is lying or doesn't know what he is doing and things like that like they do in politics. Mark never did that. He just focused on what HE could do for me, not what the other guy could not do for me. And when things got stressful (because buying a house can be stressful) he always was there with his optimistic attitude to talk to me and make me feel better about whatever was going on and let me focus on whatever needed to be done and even to be excited about buying my first home. He let me know that he would be relentless in getting things done and getting them done quickly for me and he always kept his word.
