The hype was worth it. The food was delicious, the ambiance was out of this world and the waitstaff was attentive yet unobtrusive and was able to anticipate our needs and keep us happy. Located in the Elora Mill area which seems to be a heritage site and has a quaint historic town vibe. Parking isn't available directly next to the restaurant so you park and walk across a bridge over a beautiful water mill feature which is obviously the name sake for the area. Parking isn't available complimentary so don't forget to get it validated once you walk in or are leaving the restaurant but obviously before you get back to your car otherwise your only options will be to pay out of pocket or make the trek over the bridge and back to the restaurant. Neither option is great and will leave a sour taste after your lovely experience at the restaurant. We had appetizers, drinks and main meals. My 3 brunch companions went with vegan options but I opted for a chicken dish which exceeded my expectations with its sheer size and deliciousness. The chicken was breaded and what was obvious to me was that the panko breading was well seasoned and elevated the dish to another level. The accompanying fries were divine. I also had a small salad which was fresh and crunchy and delicious. The entire experience was a 20 out of 10. From our seat overlooking the water we could see patrons at the associated spa in their robes on the roof deck enjoying what looked to be food from the restaurant. I could see myself coming back for the spa and lunch experience with libations on the roof deck.

They say they use organic products but are not able to let you know what brand and where they come from. I was told: We use organic Xmass blend and lavender scented oils and please let's get started as we have other clients coming. Usually when getting a good treatment, starts with a skin analysis, talking you through what is being done, reason and what is being used is part of it but not here. This place is relatively new, opened in August and hopefully they will grow into smth more professional, until than price does not justify what you get out of it.

The owner unexpectedly provided us with cake for our celebration which went very well with the wine. There were a couple things with the venue that I took a star off for, like sand on our seats in the hydropool and not knowing to go to use the side door of the house. Other than that though the venue has a beautiful view, the massage services were great, they did a nice job with my nails and my feet have never looked prettier. Furthermore they treated my sister like a queen - even accomodating her needs by substituting services and giving her a golden facial. They also accomodated my needs with a scent sensitivity. If you're looking for a really great place to relax I definitely recommend Caledon Oaks. It's only been operating for a few months, but they're already off to a great start.

We had an extremely difficult time booking an appointment. It took about a month of calling before we finally got someone on the phone. We booked the "Couples Prestige Pedicure" which is advertised as taking 70 minutes. My fiancé's pedicure was 45 minutes and mine was just under an hour. Overall, my pedicure was very minimal--very little callous/dry skin removal. She applied exfoliating scrub, but just quickly and gently pushed it around before washing it off so it was pointless. An hour after my pedicure, I checked my heels and they were still dry/cracked. My fiancé's pedicurist did a better job--she is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. After tax, the total for the two pedicures was $215. They did not allow us to use our gift card to tip, even though we had just the right amount left on it, which seems ridiculous. The store shouldn't require you to supplement with your own cash when you've received a gift! Even if you can afford a $100+ pedicure, I don't know why you would choose to get it done here. Your run-of-the-mill strip mall nail salon will do a much better job with better results for 1/3 of the price.

After being greeted, I changed my shoes for a pair of sandals and changed into a bathrobe. Then, I soaked my feet in lavender scented warm water with rose petals, while sitting on comfy pillowed seats. They checked to make sure the temperature was right. Alas, after a few minutes, my massage therapist greeted me and guided me to a private, candle lit room for my massage. My goodness, the massage was heaven! I've been there twice, and every since, I've become highly opinionated about how my massages should feel like. It's truly hard to find good masseuses, and The Waters hires the best. Upon leaving, I also completed an anonymous survey. They take their customers' feedback very seriously. During my second visit, I noticed they implemented my suggestion. I haven't found a spa as great as this one - truly, you are getting what you pay for. I've been to cheaper spas, and it's not the same experience. Too bad it's so far away from me :(
