The ethics of the club are fantastic and designed to remove the conception and barriers of Tennis being a game only accessible to the wealthy. There are 5 high quality courts with 3 being floodlit. The club runs successful beginners, improvers and kids coaching thoughout the week, with the possibility of individual coaching by the friendly and experienced coaches. I first started coming to the club in June to participate in the affordable beginners and improvers coaching and I am pleased at the progress I have made with the guidance of the coaches. For the kids, depending on the age will be grouped into different bands. I love the names of them such as "Rafa's Rascals," "Fantastic Federer's," and "Murray's masters." Once joining the club at a very affordable joining fee, you are issued with a fob which allows you access when you please. You will find me often at the court at the end of a week teaching, hitting some serves to relax! Whether you are new to Tennis or and an experienced player, this club is for you. I feel so lucky to have this fantastic facility in walking distance from my house and love it!

I was visiting with a friend in Nottingham, and after a night out, we took our sorry butts off to David Lloyd's. I'd never imagined it would be as amazing as it is. We started off with a delicious Paleo friendly meal in their cafe. And this was my favourite part. I have quite a few food allergies and Paleo eating is my life. The cafe here caters for paleo eaters, right down to the side of sweet potato fries. The low carb burger is amazing, I highly recommend that. Next off to the gym, for a grueling workout. Well not quite grueling, more stretching and foam rolling. But what i could see is a ton of cardio machines, and even more important a heap of weights. Plenty of squat racks and benches to go around. After our foam rolling, we went to the swimming pool, sauna, and heated spa. This is a great area for the whole family, plenty of space to watch the kids in the pool whilst you relax in the spa. Leaving David Lloyd's, i felt soo relaxed and no longer seedy from the night before. It was like leaving a day spa. I wish we had one of these near where i lived.

Kings Heath park is absolutely huge. It's great to have picnics at, go for walks, have colour…read morefights (as my friends and I did ) , walk the dogs and even entertain the kids. Everytime I go there are always various clubs going on which is great to have something to occupy time with! Additionally, it has very quiet areas, especially by the pond , and I usually take work and do it there. It's a great park!

I like Kings Heath park, it's got a lot going for it. First…read moreoff, it's a like a park of two halfs, oh and it's massive. It's like maybe two, three or even four parks in one. You've got the footpath that leads all the way around the park, which is popular with walkers, joggers and cyclists. This path will lead you from one of the three entrances right down to where the park edges alongside the trainline. How many miles this walkway is I don't know, but it's a good walk to take it all in. The path snakes in around the parks water feature which is really quite beautiful and is popular with ducks. There is also a tea room, tennis courts, a bowling green, basketball hoops, and two childrens playgrounds. This is a supreme park with large open grass spaces to boot. Kings Heath park is a great asset to the south of Birmingham and has a great deal to offer visitors.
