I can't imagine my life without their care and concern. They were able to help men when western medicine had reached its limits in many aspects of my care. I would say, one of the most poignant moments of my care management was when Dr. Paterson cured me of debilitating low back pain, of which I suffered from for over 15 years. The pain ended my modern dance career due to a car accident. I literally would go completely blind and experience shock like sensations up and down my legs from the compression in my spine. I used to crawl from the bathroom to the bedroom after work, and I couldn't even bend over the sink to brush my teeth without my knees buckling to the floor. Western doctors gave me pain killers, MRIs, radiation, and shots in my spine to no avail, other than a case of gastritis from long term use of NSAIDS for the pain. Dr. Paterson diagnosed me in the first visit with a psoaz muscle spasm in my right hip, due to the car accident. After suffering from years of debilitating pain, he cured me in less than two visits! He used a technique called manual therapy in conjunction with acupuncture and I have hardly suffered since. I think I had two more minor episodes over the next two years, which Dr. Paterson addressed. Since then, I have not exhibited those symptoms, at all, unless I do something unusual. It is so rare that I don't even think about it anymore, and I can work it out myself with a little stretching. It has been about 15 years since he treated me for the psaos muscle spasm. Dr. Paterson's acupuncture abilities combined with his knowledge of eastern medicine, and manual therapy is a highly unique skill set. The level of care provided did not meet our expectations. The caregivers often seemed inattentive and lacked the necessary professionalism and capacity to provide care for patients experiencing Alzheimer's /dementia. We experienced times where we had care scheduled and no caregiver showed up or showed up extremely late. Communication with the management was challenging, as our concerns were not addressed promptly or effectively. We encountered issues with scheduling and consistency, which added unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. Additionally, numerous requests were made to obtain invoices for services already paid. These requests were met with NOTHING. SO WE HAVE EXPERIENCED MAJOR BILLING DISCREPANCIES. The final day of care, the caregiver (owner) showed up for her scheduled shift, caused an altercation with my elderly parents, once again demanded payment, (still with no invoice in hand for the last eight weeks), and then threatened my 85 year-old parents. i have been going to Dr. Lucas for years, but sadly, i will have to find another dermatologist…read more 2 weeks ago i talked to her and the medical esthetician (Mary) about creating a skin regime (now that i'm 30) for me and i left with purchasing $250 worth of serums, creams and sunscreen. after trying all of them, the sunscreen did not work for me. it was like schmearing cream cheese on my face and left me looking like a kabuki character. yesterday, i attempted to return the sunscreen (i had purchased 2 b/c they were on special) and i was not allowed to because i had not had an adverse reaction to the product. the only way you can return products is if you have a reaction to them! i am a hairstylist and i sell people professional products everyday. how would you feel if i sold you some shampoo that you didn't care for and i would not let you return it b/c your hair didn't fall out? that is absurd, especially since professional products are backed by the manufacturer. i cannot support a practice who rips off their patients. PS - the questionable sunscreen is La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF 40. its like cream cheese!

So she told me I could not eat any sugar, dairy or unfermented soy. Before I conformed to this lifestyle changing diet I did my research. None of what she said was based on ANY credible research that I could find. So I went the place SHE told me to look for information which was Weston A. Price Foundation. The Weston A. Price Foundation is headed by a PhD nutritionist (doesn't sound bad) and a woman with a Master's degree in...English. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL Wow, I thought someone who had gone through Medical school would know a little bit more about the scientific method and scrutinizing sources of information. To top it all off, when I told her I didn't want children she stared at me and told me that I might change my mind. Ah, I love me some judgment in the morning.
