After moving to Mesa, AZ from Oregon, I realized that I needed to begin to transfer everything for my business and financial needs. The first two businesses I needed was a financial institution and a tax/accountant that I could trust. My name is Tony Sirkin and I own a furniture business and was referred to Moshe Klein and associates through a friend who was a relatively new client of this firm. When i called and spoke with Moshe regarding my 2013 taxes. I explained to him that my previous accountant had me paying $40,000 for my taxes and that this amount seemed way to high and that i would like to see this number go down. My income didnt' triple. So he looked at my books that i paid someone else to do and told me, he did believe he can get that number down but he wanted to redo my books at $100 a month, I agreed to this. So keep in mind, i am now in the hole with this Moshe for $1200 and that is after paying someone else months earlier. A couple of months later Moshe comes back to me and told me that i owe $44,000. I about died. So after that i met with another accountant and he told me that i owed $22,000. Now if you goto his website he states in a video on his website that if he does your books for a year he will give you a free tax return. So i told Moeshe i still wanted to use him for the books at least until the end of the year for 2014 but that i wasn't' going to be using his accounting services at all. He told me that i owe him $550 for the tax returns. I explained to him that i am not going to do the return with them because they came back higher than what we discussed at the very beginning. He was not happy to hear about this. But i also told him i will continue to use the books for the rest of the year and keep my commitment on that. towards the end of 2014, i made it very clear, to Moeshe i would be willing to pay to finish out the books for 2014 but i am not paying for that tax return that came back higher than what was first discussed. He got his lawyer involved and now going back and fourth over a measly $550 over priced tax return that came back higher than what he led on to believe from the very beginning. I have never left a negative feedback like this. So i called my friend who referred me to him and he is in a legal battle with Moshe also. I even took his tax return to my new accountant who is an ex irs agent and he stated that i shouldnt' pay him a dime. He bamboozeled me out of $2700 and i asked him to please just finish out my books for 2014 and he wouldn't even do that. By far the worst accounting firm and bookeeping firm i have ever heard of, very shady As a small business owner i want an accountant who knows how to help a small business not be more concerned about collecting fees. I promise you be careful. I have never met a bigger shiester in my life. Watch the video on his website, he states you get a free tax return. There is no such things as free. We were very disappointed with Moshe Klein and Associates. A word of advice for other new, small business owners- just do your own book-keeping and save your money. This is ultimately what we wish we had done. If you are looking for someone to partner with you and take an active role in making sure your books are constantly updated and your taxes are filed on time- then this is not the place unfortunately. We learned this lesson in the hardest possible way. When we first met MKA, everyone there was bending over backwards for us. But over the few years we were clients of MKA, we were passed from associate to associate, these newbies rarely checked in with us, an extension was filed for our business. We decided to stop paying the monthly book keeping fee, and then, after spending thousands with them, and being a client for several years, MKA would not hand over our financials to meet our new tax deadline unless we paid additional hundreds to "re-open the file" and basically email them to us. Just very unhelpful. Our current accountant is currently trying to untangle the mess. read more

I had a wonderful experience today having my taxes done at Moshe Klein & Associates. I typically use H & R Block, using a 'Block Advisors' location in the Northern suburbs for the past few years. Frankly, I was sick of their continually rising prices, lack of personal attention and excessive wait times. This year, I also felt my tax preparer was incompetent and clearly new less about tax law than I did! In practically every way, MKA exceeded my expectations. They fit me in for an appointment when it was convenient for me (which is basically only Sunday morning). I also had the paperwork and a tax assessment emailed to me ahead of time, so there was no wasteful discussion of what I needed done. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door at the convenient location adjacent from the Skokie Swift on Dempster. The only star i had to deduct was for the decor. The office is a bit stuffy and filled with cubicles. It would benefit from some reconfiguration. (But, if I can save because they don't waste money on decor, I don't mind that much! My taxes were done in less than a half hour AND for less than half the cost of H & R Block!!! I will always gladly use a small business that provides a service as well as a large competitor, but MKA was a far BETTER service for LESS. No competition here. Highly recommend, especially if you have a simple return and typically go to one of the big guys! I'll be back! read more

The organization will assist you meeting state and federal regulations for a startup. Fee structure is a monthly fee. After one full calendar year of monthly fees, they will file your tax returns at no additional charge. The other main advantage is the connections this firm has a the sponsor of Jewish B2B, a networking group particularly strong in the northern suburbs and north side of Chicago. This group is in no way limited to Jewish people. It will lead to a lot of contacts and educational information. read more
