I give this place 0 stars. I have been on a rollercoaster for the past 6 months with this office and it's only right for others to know what to expect. 1. My first visit was for my annual physical. I had back in April 2024, went great overall visit took about an hour and half. I had to return for a follow up where the Dr. referred me for further testing from my lab results. She advised me I would get a call back with those lab results since it is 1 test it is not necessary to come back to the office. 2. I never got a call back from the office about that 1 test result so I called the Mosholu Ave office they stated the Dr. is no longer with them and that I have to come in person for the results after being told it would be given to me over the phone, mind you I have insurance through my employer where I have to pay per visit. After multiple phone calls with this office they continuously said another doctor will call me and weeks have gone by where no one would call. Also note, I called everyday multiple times a day and it was always a new excuse from the receptionist. Ive requested a Manager multiple times and they always say they're not here they will call me back. Its October 2024 and I have never got the call about my results from the doctor nor a call back from the office manager about my problems. 3. I get billed to my insurance for my annual physical, my insurance tries to contact the office multiple times to resolve this and ofcourse they cant reach anyone just like I can never reach the correct person to speak to either. Its October and I still call to report I am being billed for them filing the codes incorrectly Ive also been calling numerous times to report this as well since May 2024. It appears I will get no resolution from the PCP and I will have to pay out of pocket for their error because it is now delinquent for how long they have taken to "resolve" this but they never actually do. 4. Safe to say, I will never go back. I definitely do not recommend going here not only for your health because not being able to hear from the doctor my results is ridiculous. But also your money because they definitely billed incorrectly and do not fix their mistake now I am the one to pay. And their customer service is horrible. Receptionist is very rude. Clearly overwhelmed and taking out on patients. She is very dismissive and does not like speaking with people.

Dr. Miller is exceptional. When I faced a medical crisis this summer my prior doctor was bought out by a hospital corporation and dropped my coverage. Then a famous NYC hospital corporation offered me an appointment as they said they took my insurance and cancelled my appointment the day before as they dropped my insurance the same week. I was able to get an appointment quickly with Dr. Miller. She and her staff are kind, funny, wise, and efficient. My family and I have never felt a better bond with a physician. An absolute neighborhood gem. read more

The doctor and medical assistants were great. I reduced some stars because of the receptionist. I'm not too sure if it's with ZocDoc the site itself, or doctors or their staff aren't properly updating their information. Maybe doctors are scrambling and the sites are being overloaded due to COVID-19 and they rarely touched ZocDoc? I've also had other doctors I've made appointments with on ZocDoc call me saying they're not available ( even though ZocDoc listed them as available) or called me to say they don't take me insurance ( even though they were listed as being in network) I made an appointment for 10am, but the receptionist called me at 8:42am the same day asking if I can come in at 10:30am or 11am and even telling me to delete the 10am appointment to prevent a duplicate scheduling. When I got there, I waited 20 something minutes since the receptionist had to verify my insurance was accepted and change my primary care physician to this doctor. It's weird that they were doing that now, instead of checking if everything was in network and up to date prior. You can place your group ID number and information relating to your insurance card on ZocDoc. To say I was annoyed was an understatement... I told the medical assistant about the cancelling of the 10am appointment, since she was asking me questions directly from ZocDoc. She even seemed confused as to why the receptionist told me to cancel the appointment. The only doctor there was for sure overwhelmed, and was accompanied by a nurse practitioner. Both were extremely lovely, and explained everything swimmingly. Explained what they were doing, thorough, and never once felt like they were lacking bedside manner or being condescending when explaining a medical term I was ignorant towards. The receptionist was probably the only downside, but everything else was pretty straightforward. The overall process for an annual exam was like 35 minutes maximum. Overall: go here if you live nearby and need something quick, as long as you're in net work; however, if you want top tier service from both doctors and receptionist please just go to Manhattan and make the extra trip. read more

Dr Docu is my primary physician but I've been seen by several doctors here. I received a suspicious call regarding my medical information and discussing my info with someone in the background. This person did NOT identify themselves personally. The caller hung up when I started asking question. I called back and researched the number +1 (914) 332-1099 and it was a cell phone number registered to a Gemma Macchio. When I attempted to call back .The person told me that I was harassing them and to stop calling after I disclosed some PERSONAL HEALTH Information. This is definitely suspicious. Either the front office is very rude and I professional by calling me on their personal cell phone calling to ask questions about my medical history or this office has scammers calling. I'm switching doctors and taking the appropriate course of action. She wouldn't allow me to schedule an appointment and blocked me. read more

Doctor and assistants are wonderful. However, the wait time is simply insane. Waited over and hour to be seen on separate appointment days, and had to come back for in person appointment to get blood work results which I would have much preferred to do over the phone due to the insane wait time. read more

Mosholu medical group has always been wonderful. I have been going to Dr. Docu and his practice for over 25 years as does my family and friends. I stopped smoking, lost weight and they are always attentive. read more

Estimated waiting time ? We don't know. It's totally insane . There are 11 chairs in a small room. This waiting room smells so bad. Only one doctor is available in this facility. Choice is yours. read more

Tina the office manager is the most unprofessional and rudest person I have ever encountered in the healthcare setting. I called multiple times to request a prescription refill and she accused me of evading my copay, lying about not being told I needed to be seen (which the staff never informed me when I called earlier), repeatedly hung up the phone saying "I don't have time for your bs so you can go elsewhere" Dr. Carlino is great but wow Tina just shocked me and if she represents what this group is about - unprofessional, disrespectful and negligent I HIGHLY ADVISE STAYING AWAY and seeking a place where the staff actually desires to work and provide good professional healthcare read more

I really hate leaving negative reviews but avoid this place! First I had to wait over an hour for a scheduled and confirmed appointment! I went in for a very specific issue, the Physicians Assistant saw me for 15 mins and then excessively billed my insurance for services that were not performed, needed or even discussed with me... during the check-in, the LPA took my height and weight and my insurance was billed for Obesity Medical Counseling?! Huh?! I also received a bill from Lab corp for an excessive number of lab tests that were not required nor discussed with me! I actually never got my lab results either since the Physicians Assistant asked me to come back for an unnecessary follow up appointment to review the test results (in 2021 please get MY CHARTS!!) but the wait for my follow up was over 85 mins so I walked out! Avoid this place! When I called to complain about the excessive medical bill the Medical Assistant goes well your insurance should've covered it! To me that just confirmed they purposely over billed my insurance to collect which left me with a bill! Beyond ridiculous! Making patients wait and overcharging for services not received or needed is bad practice! read more
