This sixteenth century Benedictine monastery is beautiful and admittance is FREE! I loved the stained glass windows, the organ, and the depiction of the Virgin Mary with pearls, and the exquisite clay statutes of various saints, including St. Benedict. The acoustics inside the monastery impressed my boyfriend and me. We were not here for one of the musical performances, but masses and concerts must be really special. We will have to come back for one of the various concerts. read more
