Avoid like the plague, this guys are a complete nightmare. Like the previous reviewer my first impressions were really good, a lovely showroom and friendly staff. However, once I'd made a choice on a van everything went downhill very quickly. There were a couple of jobs that needed doing on the van before I said I'd pick it up, such as the lock on 1 door wasn't working and one of the sliding doors didn't shut very easily. They agreed to sort the problems and I'd pick the van up in a few days. So I made the 40 mile journey to go and get the van, only to find that whilst the lock which was previously faulty had been sorted, what they had actually done is swap the barrel with another door! The sliding door was worse than when I looked at the van in the first place as well. I agreed to withhold £150 from the price and the salesman said that he'd order a new door barrel and fit it at my house later that week. Sure enough despite multiple calls he never turned up, yes I 'saved' £150 but I had to get the lock sorted myself. A few days later I filled the van with fuel only to find that it started leaking up through the ply line in the load space as the muppets who'd fitted the ply (this was citywide themselves) had put self tapping screws down through the top of the fuel tank. Another annoyed call to them, another promise to come and collect the van and fix the problem, and of course it never happened so I took the van elsewhere to get fixed. It's interesting that the previous reviewer had issues with the registration document too, as I had the same problem. I kept calling for 2 weeks and got nowhere, in the end I went to the local DVLA office and got the document sorted myself. I would certainly never buy another vehicle from these guys. If they are not doing something that contravenes trading standards legislation then they are certainly unethical. read more

This van centre seemed great at the start. But after nearly a year of battling to get the new registration certificate following either blatant lies each time we call, or incompetance or inefficiency or all three, we are still having to chase it. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! read more
